21.01.2022 CZECH AND SLOVAK ASSOCIATION OF TASMANIA INC. Dear friends I am sure that you are all aware of the coronavirus and the associated restrictions that have been imposed and the precautions that have been recommended. We are living in uncertain times and I know that some of us are concerned and feeling anxious. I am aware that some people in the community would rather stay home than face the uncertainty of going out. Such things as battling lines at the supermarket, including the... risk of picking up the virus troubles us. This is particularly worrying to the older members of our community who seem to be more susceptible to this virus. The Czech & Slovak Association of Tasmania is here to assist in whatever way we can to help you; we can’t guarantee anything but if we can do something for you please let us know. From doing the shopping for you to accompanying you to appointments - don’t hesitate contacting us. If you are able bodied, mobile and can assist, please let us know. We also ask that you check with other members of our community around you and offer what assistance you can. Ensure that they are comfortable and can get sufficient groceries and are fine to get out for necessary appointments etc. We will establish a group of people available to assist members of our community to get through these uncertain times. 14.01.2022 Great day for our AGM and Pork Spit Roast at Black Forest. Congratulations and thanks to Anton Rada on the continued development of the site and allowing us access. Thanks to Michael Holobradek for building the spit and organising the day. A great day was had by all :)
