24.01.2022 So... This customer come to me wanting a boot setup done and upon further examination found some extremely questionable wiring performed by another business. That all had to go!! Started off with ditching the AGU fuse holder and actually MOUNTING a Mini ANL fuse in the engine bay on a custom made bracket. Wrapped it in split conduit to help insulate the wiring ( and looks better) and then it was time to tackle the boot. ... Everything was pulled out and an amp rack was made to mount the 4 channel to. An upright amp rack mounts the vibe mono-block in position and then its time to work on aesthetics. Custom made black mesh grilles were fabricated in house to help with the look. A false wall and false sides help to neaten things up finished in black and blue trim with some cheeky LEDS installed to keep with the theme. Decided to go with a supplied and fitted MTX system to suit the budget and finish off with a simple false wall and floor combo in black carpet. Secured the amps to an amp rack to sit behind the seats and built a Custom ported box to suit the space nicely. ... Otherwise for now here are a few pictures of how the finished job ended up. Pleasure to work on this weapon of a car!! Installed Airlift Performance Front and Rear Struts with an Accuair Elevel+ CVT control system. The boot was taken with a full MTX Audio Setup so the tank was mounted underneath the car with a sneaky view of the ECU. This thing still has quite a range of travel which will make it so much more practical to get up those driveways while still being able to look as good as it does when parked!
