23.01.2022 Most of the youth and vocation activities for our district are for senior secondary students. RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) is a week-long program for youth aged 18 - 25 years of age. The RYLA class of 2016 want to thank the Rotary clubs of district 9650 for giving them the opportunity of a life time.

18.01.2022 District 9650 prospective NYSF Students are busily preparing to attend the district selection weekend in Walcha on the 30th and 31st of July. Here's an account from a former NYSF Student Sam Doyle: 'NYSF was an incredible experience that gave me an amazing eye opening experience into what the science world has to offer. I was lucky to be selected to attend the NYSF in 2014, and the 12 days in Canberra gave me the chance to meet 140 of the most amazing minds in the country a...nd experience life as a professional scientist. The highlight of the trip was getting to perform real scientific experiments on muscle tissue and the making of pharmaceutical goods. I also met some amazing scientists and made friends for life. NYSF opened doors for me and I'll never forget the incredible experience had - if anyone is thinking about doing it, don't think twice put in an application!' See more



17.01.2022 The Rotary Youth Exchange(YEP) program always receives rave reviews from participants on exchange in Australia, and from Australians who spent 12 months hosted overseas. Heaps of fun, lots of travel, meeting great people and living with Rotary host families, being immersed in the culture, personal growth and new 'life-long' friends.... 03.01.2022 The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) is a 12-day residential program for students entering Year 12 in 2017 who are passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). The NYSF program aims to show participants the wide variety of study and career options in STEM fields. 02.01.2022 The exciting MUNA (Model United Nations Assembly) event is on again this year at Kempsey High School. Teams of two Year 11 students each represent a country at a UN meeting. You can play the part of a diplomat, dress up, learn about the culture of your country, draft and submit resolutions and then debate and vote on them in the mock Assembly - sounds fun and challenging!
