22.01.2022 We were hoping to make a post at the end of June to celebrate return of classes with the start of July, but as any circumstance in life, things do not always go the way we planned. This pandemic is a trial for everyone around the world, and Alhamdullilah we are fortunate to say not being able to reopen Daar is but a minor inconvenience when compared to the afflictions many people have to face around the world. We pray that with doing the right thing and Tawakkul we reach th...e light at the end of the tunnel soon Insha’Allah. Alhamdullilah, we did not delay in switching to online after coming to the realisation this could take a while. And although the online experience is not ideal for memorisation we have benefitted in a number of ways. Firstly, one of our Biggest concerns was not keeping up with the growing number of students on the boy’s side. Being only 3 teachers getting through everybody’s program in the limited time was a mission. Alhamdullilah we now have 6 teachers and so we can keep up and ensure the students are all attended to. Our additional teachers include Hafiz Al-Quran Ustad Ali Al-Musharafawi and Ustad Ali Mohamad and Sayed Abdullah Al-Musawi. Secondly, we have 4 new students and so the Daar Fam is only growing Alhamdullilah. Thirdly, going online has provided us with many ideas and initiatives to do many additional activities following the end of lockdown Insha’Allah. Furthermore, thanks to online, we have figured out new ways to do things that will improve the program overall. Because it is a busy time of the year, the page has not been too active unfortunately, but Insha’Allah we have a lot of good news to tell and posts to share in the near future. 22.01.2022 Alhamdullilah, since the return to physical classes there have been many updates, however, it has been a busy few months and we haven't had the chance to share any of it, so here it is : Firstly I wanna start by congratulating our excellent students Ahmad and Muamel for completing juzu 30, being added to list of youth in our community who have memorised 1 whole juzu of the Holy Quran and it is by no means a small achievement! we are hosting a Quran memorisation com...petition open to all youth of the community on saturday the 20th of Feb and an open invitation for all members of the community men and women to attend. More Details including registration, divisions, location and time are in the picture . We have added an extra weekly quranic sciences session to our program on saturday to complement memorisation and last saturday we completed our second surah (surat alfalaq) in the tafseer series. We are hosting weekly soccer following classes on saturday and are hoping for this to be ongoing inshaAllah. Last but not least. We are in desperate need of an extra Quran teacher as the number of students has significantly increased since returning from online and not only are we forced to close doors for registration this year, but we also have been working under the pump to ensure we finish the students programs or atleast partially. So we please ask our dear followers if they are acquainted with someone who is confident in Quran recitation, can work well with kids (preferably a young adult) and is able to volunteer 4 hours of his week, then please let them know as it would help us greatly Thank you

21.01.2022 Daar Al-Imam Hassan Al-Askari is pleased to announce our first Quran memorisation competition which has been rescheduled to Saturday the 13th of March on the birth anniversary of Al-Imam Al-Hussain (AS). The competition is for all the boys participating in the following divisions of memorisations 1 Half of Juzu 30(Surah AlGhashia Surah Al-Naas)... 2 Juzu 30 3 3 Juzus The Program will start at 2 pm after Salah and will extend to Maghrib time and the program is an open invitation for members of the community, men and women to attend. 20.01.2022 Alhamdullilah, after many months of online classes, we are back in person and the Daar fam has grown bigger with many more new students. Unfortunately, as much as we try to get everyone together for a group photo, sometimes it just isn't possible. inshaAllah today marks a great start for the summer holidays program and for next year Also inshaAllah we will have more material for the page on the holidays #quran #islam #brothers #family #love #DaarFamRise

12.01.2022 In The Name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful Alhamdullilah we've been working on making Daar Al-Imam Hassan Al-Askari an incorporated association and opening a bank account and today we have finalised that. This our first step to being an official organisation/school and to provide many services to the youth and activities and we are very keen to update you on summer activities inshaAllah if the situation has improved till then. We really do hope it has and have some great ideas in mind that the youth will most certainly enjoy.

01.01.2022 Congratulations to our hard working Student Hassan Al-Lami for completing the memorisation of juzu 30. We ask Allah to grant him success in completing the memorisation of the holy Quran and may it be a light in his life There are 3 more students who have already completed juzu 30 and a few others close to finishing, whom we wish to give their certificates in person and are waiting for the crisis to end. We look forward to posting their pictures soon inshaAllah We ...are super excited to announce that the girls classes have seen a huge success since the last time we posted and we were able to overcome feelings of discouragement, and had faith that things will improve and they did. The number of students in the girls classes is now 9 students. Furthermore, our excellent student Noor Maky is the 1st student to complete juzu 30 on the girls side and she is very very eagar to complete memorisation as she competes with her brother in memorising the holy Quran. This wonderful competition is that which has been mentioned in surah Almutafifeen. " " " So for this let the competitors compete". We congratulate our student/assistant teacher Fatimah Al-Battat for her completion of juzu 30, and we thank her for her continuous efforts as a student and a teacher and we ask Allah to grant her success in her journey to memorising the holy Quran and teaching it. Alhamdullilah we now have 11 students who have memorised more than 1 juzu. This is all Thanks to Allah Primarily, the blessing of Ahlulbayt and the efforts of the students, their families and teachers
