25.01.2022 Took #littlemiss for her first trip out today. Billy and I wanted to give Mums Who Wine a break from the amazing job she is doing with #ariellejoy. We popped into Heart of Hall - Cooking School & Cafe for lunch and the amazing Nicole sent us home with a few frozen meals. The first, #CottagePie, was devoured in seconds tonight. 25.01.2022 Our first Dads Who Wine event for 2020. Great night had by all at Up in Smoke 3011 But hey, how can you go wrong with great food and some top beers, all shared with some legendary dads. None of us realise how late it was until the bar tender called last drinks. Then we looked around to see we were the only ones left. Time flies when your having a much needed tank filling night. ... 12.01.2022 Fathers are not just visitors... they are an essential part in raising and protecting children. If I could’ve only been there to help for 2hrs every day after the birth of Arielle, I don’t know what I would’ve done. There are means to control the movement in and out of hospital that would allow fathers to be there to support mothers while stopping the spread of COVID. The mental health of the mother and father as well as their ability to form early bonds with their newborn are essential. We should be working to make sure this happens, not shutting it down.
