25.01.2022 There is something in a simple hug that has a way to say, how much your loved and cared about in so many way. Now Covert 19 has come along and hugs are not advised but inside our hearts there is so much love we have learnt to improvise.
20.01.2022 Winter is definitely here but our Playroom is full of sunshine, which is so lovely in this cold weather. A reverse cycle Air Con is a definite plus. We have completed our fencing around our whole home. It looks amazing and soon our verandah will be completed and we can sit out there on hot days and watch the birds take their baths/drinks. I am so glad we don't have to drink the water we bathe in. New babies are filling our lives as we help them all to settle into our Day Care... Home. We believe that working with our babies wonderful parents helps this transition as we can work along the same routines they have at home with Mum and Dad. School holidays are here and tomorrow it's cooking day and we are making Caramel Brownie's. I will be using all my self control. Our school children are all growing so fast and next year there will be many changes. So to all my friends and families. Stay Safe, Stay Well and be kind to each other. See more
19.01.2022 Blessing all our hardworking services that are so exhausted, broken but determined, as they fight on for us all. We are all broken and our hearts cry for the suffering of many but sometimes we need to remember to help our children understand too. They too are touched by this and so take a moment to talk to your children and help them to understand and give to them that gentle hug that promises that everything will be okay. I pray for healing.
19.01.2022 Lots of fun under the trees in our covered area. Climbing frame is our children's place where they play, share stories and make new games to play from their unique little imaginations.
17.01.2022 After a brief absence we are back at work and looking forward to our three new babies starting in April. When any parent leaves their child in the arms of a stranger they will experience such stress and anxiety. How can we help our parents experiencing this. Phone calls from parents to our home are always recommended. We send photo's during our day to let our parents see their babies and know they are safe and well. I believe that honest communication and listening to each of our parent's/children's needs help us pave the way to alleviating the anxiety and work together to give each child/baby a wonderful, loving home environment where they can learn and grow.
15.01.2022 Making a birthday cake is always fun when everyone helps. The children all love using my Nana's very old sifter and as we work we take the time to talk. This is an important time for children to learn, communicate and share. I love nothing more than listening to children's stories and most stories about when they cook at home with Mummy or Daddy.
11.01.2022 Loving dress ups and Christmas with our children.
11.01.2022 New play area for our little cherubs. They can slide, hide, have morning tea at the table or play netball on the side. So important to keep our children, happy, having fun and developing all those muscles as they grow.
11.01.2022 Our Daycare remains open full of happy, busy children. We have implemented some safety measures which in the long term have become a great way to continue to keep hygiene paramount in our home. We are moving more towards wooden toys inside and outside as they are much stronger and safer. Children were all eager to help as we cut the lower branches off of the trees for the winter. I told one little girl it was to let their trunks grow stronger and she informed me that trees d...idn't have trunks, only elephants did. I hid my smile . We really enjoy using natural products from our garden in art and Harper made a big tree and a green butterfly. It is so simple, fun and the pleasure shining on their little faces as they work is reward itself. Music is a big part of our day and we all sat down under the tree as Nate performed his version of Country Road. He loves to sing and he is a natural too. Not shy at all with an audience. Building confidence and self esteem and sharing his passion for music with us all. We are truly blessed each day by the hearts of our children. See more
10.01.2022 We have had many come through our family day care. Now we have a Grandson
08.01.2022 What a beautiful time of the year it is now. Winter is slowly leaving and warm sunshine, allows us all to venture outside earlier and play. There is enough worries in our world at present that we embrace being able to keep our children safe, happy, learning and having so much fun. Where there is laughter and love there is MAGIC.
06.01.2022 How many of us feel like this some days lol.
03.01.2022 Loving the colours. Beautiful Gifts for New Mums.
02.01.2022 As it is school holidays are you looking for activities for your children. Here are a few ideas. We took our kids to the Old McDonald Farm today
02.01.2022 Thank you Bundaberg City Council for bringing us Old McDonald's Farm but also the new changes to the playground. What a wonderful day we all had and it was so cool under the shady trees. Happy, Safe, Busy and Tired by the end of our Day. So sad to see the end of the holidays but as each school day progresses and we hear about their day at school, then we know that a New Busy Year has begun.
