16.01.2022 1983 Nissan NRV-II Long before Land Rover and Audi started the trend of fancy screens displaying countless data at the bottom of the dash, it was actually Nissa...n who thought of the idea first, over 30 years ago. #ConceptTuesday is back at it again! It certainly didn't look as interesting on the exterior as it was on the interior. From the outside, you would swear that it was just like any other #Nissan, with weird wheels. but the actual fun came with the car's features: *It had automatic headlights that switch on or off depending on the time of day, *It had rain-sensitive windshield wipers. *It had buttons on the steering wheel that controlled the cruise control. An adaptive cruise control of sorts, which warned you if you were getting to close to the vehicle ahead of you and slowed down as a result. *The screen in the centre is touch sensative that was able to included GPS tracking. *It had windows made of lightweight plastic instead of glass. *It also had a digital-of-sorts gauge cluster, providing you vital information like speed, petrol gauge and other important data. Basically the techno revolution started in the 80's, we were just late to the party lol.
