22.01.2022 Our sea turtle friends face a lot of challenges in our ever changing world and plastic is a HUGE problem for them! As you can see it would be very easy ...for them to mistake plastic for one of their favourite treats the Jellyfish. Do your bit to help these beautiful creatures, their friends and our ocean , say NO to single use plastic items, reduce, reuse and recycle See more

20.01.2022 I had an awesome experience with Adventure North Australia this past summer. I learned a ton about Australia, the Daintree, and Aboriginal Culture. We explored the Daintree and got to crab hunt at low tide. An unforgettable experience and a must do!

Thank you so much for the wonderful experiences you deliver to our guests from all over the world and Australia. You make me very proud of our product Daintree Dreaming. Cheers Maryanne

19.01.2022 North Queenslanders know green-ants very well. Their nests of woven leaves are common in our trees, we learn to be cautious about pushing through shrubbery because the workers drop on intruders and bite quite painfully. Found this Queen Green Ant today in my garden.

11.01.2022 Facts about where we live and why it RAINS....... It is warm most of the time in the tropics, usually 25 degrees C or greater so a lot of ocean water gets evaporated. Clouds roll over land based on prevailing winds. As the cloud runs into cooler air it rains along the edge of the rainforest. Then the sun comes up and the lush vegetation uses the water by pulling it out of the ground through their roots and up into the leaves. The water then exits the vegetation via a process ...called evapotranspiration. This adds water vapor to the air and raises the humidity. Winds blowing inland carry this water laden air to the next section of rainforest with cooler air and another belt of rainforest gets rain. Rinse and repeat throughout the day and you get a bigger and bigger rainforest. You can think of the rainforest as breathing in water and exhaling water. See more
