24.01.2022 Hi all!! Finally getting around to updating you - Introducing our mascot.... Daisy!! Our little bundle of joy arrived almost a month ago, on the 7th Feb. It's been a haze of learning to parent, but we love our little girl to bits!! I'll have her working a spatula in no time!

Tried my hand at royal icing decorating on gingerbread for some xmas biscuits for the girls at my work, and am so happy with the outcome! 22.01.2022 Rainbow Mermaid It was so much fun making this colourful cake for a mermaid party! Vanilla funfetti cake, with rainbow buttercream, topped with rainbow sprinkles & meringues! Plus some rainbow meringues for the kids to eat too!

Pack of 3 delicious butter biscuits, personalised to your teacher's name (Thank you " "). Packs are $20 each, biscuits will be individually heat sealed in plastic to ensure freshness. Orders must be placed & paid in full by 4th Dec 2020, to secure your order, with packs available for collection from Byford from Dec 12th-16th.

17.01.2022 Happy Friday! I'm so excited to say the Daisy Bakes kitchen is back up and running!! We have passed council inspection & have approval to get baking! I'm relaunching with a few changes... as I juggle life as a working mum, I've decided to focus on delicious biscuits only, particularly my favourite handmade fondant covered butter biscuits. Flick me a message if I can do some custom biscuits for you, otherwise I'll be launching ranges in line with the seasons, and some things will be launched as a limited number run... first in best dressed! Keep an eye out this weekend as I release my "Thank you teacher" and Christmas packs!! There's a particularly special one I'm so excited to share with you!! 17.01.2022 Hiya folks! Shasta of Daisy Bakes here! You may have noticed things have been a bit quiet around here, that's because not only have we been getting our house finished building, we are also expecting the most special bun out of the Daisy Bakes oven! Bun due Feb 2020! So, I've had to make the tough call to put my own physical & mental health first, and close up Daisy Bakes a bit earlier than I expected. I will be completing existing orders, but not taking any new, and unfortunately won't be doing anything for Christmas! I will be off for maternity leave and hope to be back, sometime later next year Thank you for your following & all your support, I will keep the page open, and will still post pics of bits that I'm able to bake for the family!

17.01.2022 [ B I R T H D A Y ] Today we celebrated our little Daisy reaching 6 months old!.... aka... her half birthday! Because basically, I can make up any excuse to have cake!! We had a "half cake", double barrel high, naked funfetti vanilla, with vanilla buttercream! Feat. @thesprinkleco sprinkles on top! Topper made by me!

16.01.2022 [ 6 0 t h S U R P R I S E ] Our last job for Daisy Bakes (for now!) was a couple of weeks ago, where we had the pleasure of attending a friend's 60th... which they turned into a surprise wedding! We got up to commemorate our service men & women with the driveway dawn service this morning, and also celebrated how we're all working together to fight this new "war" we're all fighting now. 02.01.2022 [ OH BABY BABY BABY ] Today I had the pleasure of joining a small bunch of friends for a beautiful get together to celebrate an impending birth... & it was so great to see everyone after Coronavirus! I took along a scrumptious lemon & elderflower cake, to have with the myriad of other delectable treats made by friends! Yay for happy days! First time doing a palette knife decorating technique, inspired by Bakes By Kellie

02.01.2022 [ ] I come from a line of Kombi lovers & owners, so when I saw this cutter from @3dprintallthethings I had to have it!! The 2nd photo is our classic line up... my parent's, Uncle's & grandparent's kombis back in 1987!! Sadly no longer in the family, so I made them all cookie versions of their beloved kombis!! They loved them so much, they're not even eating them! (Side note... how's the Perth skyline in '87?! )
