25.01.2022 Queensland Rail’s Works Notice for after hours works including a weekend station closure over the weekend Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December. All services on the Caboolture/Sunshine Coast line will operate as scheduled, but not stop at Dakabin. A free shuttle (from Narangba Road) will take customers to and from Petrie station to connect with all services (both directions). Customers are encouraged to allow an additional 30 minutes for travel or consider using another station ov...er that weekend. The station’s footbridge will remain open during the works for cross-corridor pedestrian access. 24.01.2022 This term Dakabin SHS students have been participating in a Deadly Choices program learning about healthy relationships and choices to have healthier lifestyles. Students who participated received a shirt for their high attendance.

13.01.2022 Congratulations to our Open basketball teams who competed in the Champion Basketball School of Queensland tournament over the holidays. The girls played in the 2nd division and competed for the bronze medal a hard fought game by the girls, but unfortunately lost by 1 point. The boys played in division 1 and competed strongly finishing 13th in the state and maintaining their position in division 1 for next year. Best wishes for our Junior teams who begin their Champion Basketball School of Queensland competitions today.

All rail services on the Caboolture/Sunshine Coast line will operate as usual. A free shuttle bus will operate from the temporary kiss'n'ride on Narangba Road and take customers to and from Petrie station to connect with all services. (If returning to Dakabin station, customers should disembark at Petrie and catch the shuttle bus... back to Dakabin.)
