22.01.2022 As you let go of the past and process painful emotions your intuition will become strengthened. Your intuition is like an internal GPS system that is always running in the background. When traumatic and upsetting things happen dark clouds come in and weaken your signal. Healing is the removal of these dark clouds that seem to cover over the light of your Soul. Your intuitive self always knows what to do and where to go. It's about learning how to trust yourself again and listening to the still quiet voice within.

18.01.2022 USE YOUR BREATH TO BREATHE INTO EMOTIONAL PAIN AND WATCH IT TRANSFORM .... Elevate your mind up above the battle ground ... You have something very powerful that you can use straight away no matter where you are your breath is the most powerful tool you have and you can use it to transform pain. By using your breath and breathing you will be able to move through and over come any trigger, pain, panic, shame attack, anything that comes up for you whether it be a scary body sen...sation, an internal flash back memory, obsessive thoughts, intense cravings or stress. Coming back to your breath and breathing is what will anchor you ... The breath is linked to your thoughts and feelings, when you can use your breath consciously you rise up above the animal brain the amygdala which is responsible for the flight fight and freeze response and holds trauma memories. So when something painful comes up either in your body or in your mind use your breath to breathe into it, move into what is there and as you do name what is arising in you,,,,, For example: Anger. Breathe deeply into it and then name it .and say to yourself out loud this is angeranger is arising breathe deeply into dont resist it dont judge it dont do anything except for breathing into it. until dissipates. Below is a link for the most powerful breathing technique. Alternate nostril breathing to alleviate stress, anxiety and depression. Powerful calming sedative breathing technique. Practice daily for a few minutes along with when ever you find yourself caught up in obsessive negative thoughts or when you are feeling anxious. https://www.youtube.com/watch

15.01.2022 WHICH INNER WOLF DO YOU FEED The starving vicious wolf which is rooted in fear, guilt and shame or the wolf that is founded on love, hope and unity? Is it really as simple and as easy as this? Yes, with awareness it can be. The key is to become aware.... You can become aware firstly by watching your mind; be the observer of your mind. Sit back and look at the inner commentary that is constantly running. Notice how your inner commentary is always based on thinking about the past or the future? According to Deepak we have on average around 50 000 thoughts per day. Where do your thoughts come from? Can you anticipate your next thought? Take notice of the quality of your thoughts. Observe what is happening on the inside of you. When you become aware that you were thinking a thought look at its content and ask how did the thought make you feel? And how does this feeling then make you act or behave? What is the belief that is driving this thought? Is the thought really true? Who would you be without this thought? Slowing down and getting really quiet will help you catch your thoughts as they occur. Use your breath and breathing to calm and centre yourself. Give yourself time to get quiet and take away all the busyness, movement, external chatter and make time for stillness. Meditation is a wonderful way to strengthen the observer part in your mind and get to know the two wolves inside of you and become their master. If you would like to learn how to meditate either in a group or one on one message me here or at the The Quiet Mind. Meditation is not a way of making your mind quiet. Its a way of entering into the quiet thats already there buried under the 50,000 thoughts the average person thinks every day. ~Deepak Chopra at The Quiet Mind.

13.01.2022 Every life experience, no matter how tragic, contains a hidden lesson. When we discover and acknowledge the hidden gift that is there, a healing takes place. -David R. Hawkins

10.01.2022 Understanding the Pain of Abandonment Living with repeated abandonment experiences as a child can create toxic shame. As an adult toxic shame holds you back from reaching your full potential. It can also sabotage and block healthy intimate relationships with others. When children are raised with chronic loss, without the psychological or physical protection they needand certainly deserveit is most natural for them to internalise incredible fear. As adults we carry and hold this internalised fear within. "Three things are striking about inner child work, says John Bradshaw. the speed with which people change when they do this work; the depth of the power and creativity that result when the wounds from the past are healed.

06.01.2022 Self-awareness is increased much more rapidly by observing feelings rather than thoughts. The thoughts associated with even one feeling may literally run into the thousands. The understanding of the underlying emotion and its correct handling is, therefore, more rewarding and less time-consuming than dealing with ones thoughts. David R. Hawkins,

06.01.2022 Releasing the seeming blocks and barriers to the awareness of the truth of who you are is a gentle letting go and a seeing through of the dark clouds that are covering over the light of your Spirit. The truth of who you are cannot be healed because it is not in need of healing as in truth you are already perfect, healed and whole. The light of your Spirit has been there the entire time while these clouds appear like a veil covering over your light. The process of healing is firstly to acknowledge and to look at the dark clouds and then have the willingness to let them go.

06.01.2022 Neuroplasticity opens up the possibility to reinvent yourself and overcome past traumatic events that evoke anxiety and stress. Hardwired fear-based memories often lead to avoidance behaviours that can hold you back from living your life to the fullest.
