22.01.2022 No chance of rain delays today!! Warm and clear. Awesome to have Carter, Cooper and Patty back on deck this week. Great to see recent recruits Hamish, Loch, a...nd Eli getting stuck into it today. Eli taking his first wicket, whilst Lochs batting was great against some fast bowling. Hamish getting involved right across the game. Plenty of action across the field in both innings with run outs and catches for the keeper and fielders. Fielding was the difference between the 2 teams, with reliable hands and accurate throws swinging the game. Josiah had a ripping morning, taking 3 wickets, 2 catches, 2 run-outs and being part of a game-changing 48* partnership with Braith. Tyler had a great day with the ball, keeping the batters under pressure. Plenty of good efforts across the group, and some really handy cricket being played. Well done. Training on Tuesday, 5:15pm - approx 6:30pm on Tuesday (weather permitting).

15.01.2022 28/11/2020 Great morning for cricket at the DCG, with a 6 a side showdown for the Dalby kids. Lighting fast outfield saw well placed & timed shots rewarded wit...h runs. New top score this week for Loch. Well done champ, great improvement and effort. Joey and Braith batted well in the first innings combining for a 58 run partnership. Josh got the 2nd innings off to a flyer, with 32 runs from his 15 deliveries. Whilst the middle order consolidated, they kept chugging away and chalked up a good response. It came down to the last over, with the winning boundary hit by Carter with 1 ball remaining. He and Tyler combined their clutch hitting for a cracking last partnership, and tallied 20runs each. Great effort by all, well done. Saturday 5th December will be the last fixture for 2020. Returning on Saturday 30th of January 2021. Training on Tuesday 1st December will be the last for 2020. In saying that, Dylan and I will be keen for a hit over the holidays so feel free to let me know if you are keen for a hit to keep your eye/arm in over the holiday. Best wishes to you and your family for the holiday season.

13.01.2022 Great morning of cricket at the DCG. No chance of sunburn!! (Credit to all involved for persevering with some rain!!) Advantage of the day laid with the first ...batting team, who enjoyed a hard ball and a running outfield. The second innings had its challenges with a soft/wet ball, and runs in the outfield harder to find. Many great efforts with the bat and ball but for our second match back, the best things to observe was the improvement in all the kids, and the way they are encouraging each other. For anyone with players interested. From this week on, we will have training on Tuesday afternoon. 5:15pm to 6:30pm (approx.) at the club cricket nets. Any questions, feel free to call or message me on 0407 690 547.

09.01.2022 21/11/2020. Great to have the junior Quinalow Cricketers back in Dalby again this weekend. Huge thanks to all the Quinalow parents for the effort to bring the... kids in. Great to see the younger juniors enjoying their cricket. Heaps of good efforts across the field. The older juniors battled it out on the turf wicket which they all enjoyed. Was a quick outfield and the fielders were kept active on a warm day. Braith, Josh and Dylan all retired on 25 not out. Cooper cracked 5 boundaries to make it to a new high score of 23 not out!! Great work Coop. Carter, Hudson and Oran struck the ball well and scored 20, 16, and 15 respectively. Tyler was deadly with the ball in hand, claiming 3 wickets for 9 runs from his 3 overs. Great bowling Ty. Thanks to all parents and helpers. Training on Tuesday, 5:15pm - approx 6:30pm on Tuesday. All welcome.

05.01.2022 Light rain showers early but turned out to be a great morning for cricket at the DCG. Outfield was primed for sliding and diving in the field, with the grass s...tains on many pants to prove it!! Thanks to the Ian and Buck for prepping the grounds. Plenty of action during the morning with a few notable achievements. Josh knocked 31n.o off his 15 balls. Great batting Josh. Hamish was able to take his first wicket!! Well done, your bowling is coming along really well. Carter took a couple of wickets, including a caught and bowled. Also snagged a direct hit runout from the outfield. Charlie did great behind the stumps. Taking 2 caught behinds. Plenty of other great cricket moments. Well done kids. Great to see you all enjoying it. Training 5:15pm - approx 6:30pm on Tuesday (weather permitting).

02.01.2022 For any seniors wanting a crack.

01.01.2022 Cracking morning of cricket. This week, the Quinalow junior cricketers travelled to Dalby and joined us for a game. This gave us enough players to split into ...2 games, which was great chance for all kids to compete again others of similar skill/age. Including one game having a match on the turf wicket. Great efforts with bat and ball across both games. Need to continue to work on our energy and skills in the field. Thanks so much for the Quinalow families and players for joining us and to Mick, Darren, and Emma for helping to organise and run the day. Training 5:15pm - approx 6:30pm on Tuesday (weather permitting).
