The Practical Rimfire event is designed to open up the world of Practical Rifle to all shooters, beginners through to experts. The matches require only a Rimfire rifle, Scope and Bipod. All of which is a staple in the average Australian shooters gun safe. With shooters from 11 yrs old invited to join, this style of shooting can truly become a family affair. It's low cost, dynamic and is guaranteed to test any shooter at times. The stages within a match mimic situations found in hunting situations and will enhance your efficiency as a hunter, equipping you to make that ethical shot from any position available to you. As a training aid to Centrefire Practical rifle shooters these matches are invaluable. 04.01.2022 It was a nice windy day to get out and do some Practical Rifle Shooting. We had a good turn out, with 24 shooters. The top two spots came down to time and Brendan G took home the win, due to being only a few seconds faster on the rifle.
