25.01.2022 It has been a hectic few weeks and I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the people who have recently signed up and become party members as well as all the individuals who continually show their support for Pauline Hanson and the One Nation team..

25.01.2022 National disgeace I would imagine every single taxpayer must look at this and think over $150k a year to pull faces and stick out my tongue where do I sign up.As per my comment she should have been removed from chamber.

25.01.2022 My friend Dexter took time out from International dogs day to make this statement :PAWS for thought in the next state elections vote Dale Grillo for East Metro.

23.01.2022 Even in these early stages of campaigning it has become evident that with an electorate the size of East Metro the amount of issues, and the diversity of the issues is enormous. While some of these issues relate to specific communities, others are situations that the entire electorate are effected by. My first priority will be to meet with as many individuals and groups as possible to ascertain their concerns, prioritise the issues and formulate an effective plan for them, the community and the state to move forward.

23.01.2022 There are A large number of grape growers and wine produces in my electorate of East Metro. These businesses have already been heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the last thing they need is to face any additional financial pressure. Let's hope this is nothing more than idle threats and grandstanding by the Chinese government and does not develop into a situation that creates further hardship for this valuable industry.

21.01.2022 When there is no words . ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

21.01.2022 DayThirty Today marks the 30th day since my nomination as Pauline Hansons candidate for the East Metropolitan region in the upcoming State election My two main focuses were to develop a strong and capable team to support me during the election campaign. I have achieved this by securing the assistance of a number of skilled and knowledgeable individuals who will be working with me over the electioneering period to whom I am very grateful.... My other very important focus was spending as much time as possible meeting people , to get a thorough understanding of the problems and issues they face in the electorate The physical size and diversity of the electorate provides a number of challenges, all of which I believe I am capable in managing and assisting with.. Volunteers are an essential part of any successful campaign and if you are in a position where you may be able to help, even for a couple of hours please do not hesitate to contact me directly. 17.01.2022 Just to say we should all value care for and look up to our elderly.

17.01.2022 In reference to the Chinese anti-dumping probe against Australian wine makers. ONE NATION WA asked these questions today in Parliament 1. Does the McGowan government support the Chinese anti-dumping probe?... 2. What is the McGowan Govt doing to assist West Australian wine makers during this time? 3. Will the McGowan government condemn the Chinese Government if it is found that there was no dumping of wine into China?

17.01.2022 Just an observation During my time as an employee volunteer and observer in the political world a concerning thing for me was the amount of time and money spent on rectifying problems and situations that should never have occurred. When classrooms are overcrowded, hospital wait lists blown out and police operations are impacted on staffing levels, the Government does what it always does it reacts but by then it is usually too late.... The problem appears to be a lack of ability to plan effectively forcing the government to be on the back foot a lot of the time . I understand politicians are not given a crystal ball when they enter parliament ,however there are thorough and accurate modelling tools available which can be used in the formulation of policy ,infrastructure and direction. Health, education and law and order which are the main priorities for a state government could be managed more effectively if proper planning is implemented based on future population projections and need. Surely a proactive government is what is needed as opposed to a reactive one

16.01.2022 The current breaking down of trade with China is escalating at an alarming rate and has now progressed into nothing short of play ground bullying including the derogatory name calling. Unfortunately this situation has dire financial consequences for a number of West Australians and their families and demonstrates how essential the development of additional markets, including local, to ensure long term sustainability for their respective industries. It is important to remember... that this situation has nothing to do with Australian produce, it is about Australia holding China accountable for their misreporting and mismanagement of the Covid 19 pandemic and it's personal and financial impact on society. The high level of trade that currently exists between Australia and China has placed the balance of power directly in the lap of Beijing. A situation that if not rectified immediately will have long-term and dire consequences to our economy and standard of living. See more

16.01.2022 THE HOMELESS DEBATE I have been watching with much interest all of the articles and opinions that have been written in the last week and more currently the Mayoral candidate debate tonigh regarding the homeless crisis in Perth. No one can dispute the seriousness of the situation however I believe the problem is much deeper than just building and providing homes for these people. With such a high number of people living rough on the streets suffering from some form of mental h...ealth issue I am of the opinion that much of the homelessness is in fact a byproduct of a lack of appropriate treatment for people suffering mental health issues. It was interesting that at the start of the Coverd 19 pandemic a number of homeless people were given accommodation in quite reputable hotels within the city, but the majority chose to leave and return to the streets and living rough. Another point that I have not seen discussed is how many of these homeless people have actually been afforded government housing previously and due to their inability to maintain the property or keep up payments, this housing was removed. For these people putting them back into a situation that they have already found intangible and unable to cope with is really doing them no favours. One last issue I would like to raise is the actual value in providing this group of individuals standard government assisted housing and will this actually assist their current situation? It has already been identified that a majority of people living on the streets suffer from mental health issues. Maybe a preferred option would to be build some type of purpose designed campus or shared residential facilities staffed with mental health professionals including indigenous staff to develop trust and assist the transition from the street. 14.01.2022 Saw this today had to share

13.01.2022 While out campaigning I am constantly asked about my political philosophies or views and what I think politicians and political parties need to focus on to improve Western Australia. For me it is quite simple, the primary focus of all politicians must be, what can I do for the people who elected me rather than what can I personally gain from my time in office. Governments must be proactive not reactive. We constantly see millions of dollars wasted in an attempt to rectify sit...uations that would not have occurred proper planning had taken place. Long term sustainability for our state is essential. The ability to provide appropriately priced services through these ever changing economic and physical conditions is essential. Major projects and infrastructure must be developed and implemented to ensure high levels of employment and to ensure our state continues to grow . Priorities must be given to key state government services such as health, education law and order.our fuel suply. All of these services need an urgent review. If something is broken, it is broken. Tinkering with it and throwing resources at it will not rectify the problem or improve the level of service they provide. And finally, governments just like everyone else, need to be held accountable for the decisions they make, or in some cases don’t make. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope it helps you understand what I’ll be working towards if I am elected. If you have any questions regarding the content of this or any of my other information please do not hesitate in dropping me a line and contacting me directly. Dale

11.01.2022 Health This week I have focused on healthcare, as there are a number of healthcare facilities, as well as those employed within the healthcare system, residing within my electorate. After speaking with a wide number of people, several issues regarding healthcare provision were identified. One of the most concerning issues raised was elective surgery, the waitlists, and most surprisingly, the definition of elective surgery by the health department. ... This is their definition: Elective surgery is a term used for non energency surgery which is medically necessary, but can be delayed for at least 24 hours. The word ‘elective’ indicates to me, and the numerous people I spoke with this week, that the procedure is a choice, is not serious, or has no significant impact upon the person awaiting this. Interestingly, cosmetic surgery was most peoples interpretation of what ‘elective surgery’ would be. But unfortunately, this is not the case. Under the umberella of ‘elective surgery,’ we have people waiting for extended periods of time for various procedures including knee and hip reconstructions as well as numerous other serious medical conditions. These conditions are not elective, they are in fact essential. Some people on these waiting lists are bed ridden, unable to maintain employment and in constant pain. These people are not simply ‘electing’ to have this surgery, for them it is essential. I believe the term ‘elective’ has been deliberately chosen by the Government to mislead people and downplay the seriousness of their health condition, while attempting to justify the time people have to wait for their identified procedure. As West Australians are terminating their private health insurance policies at an alarming rate, the issues surrounding elective surgery will only worsen. The first step in the process is to change the term ‘elective,’ to a word that actually reflects the seriousness and urgency of the situation.

10.01.2022 FOREWARNED IS FOREARMED: We should not be surprised I know One Nation wasn't. I appreciate it is a Federal but we would be foolish to think it will not impact on a state level.

09.01.2022 LEST WE FORGET I have not sacrificed anything for my freedom. It was given to me by those who came before me. A quote that can be applied to so many of us. We take for granted the things they died for.... Their country their families left behind, and the belief that if death should come loved ones would be free , they would be safe and the Australian flag would always proudly fly over this great country. So do not only remember on this day remember every day their sacrifice

08.01.2022 Statement: Law and order and it’s reforms are one of the cornerstones of all political parties policy during their electioneering .Despite this people never feel safer or experience any significant reduction in crime. A review in how we combat crime including how to manage those convicted of committing the crime is long overdue.... Predatory violent offences targeting the young, weak , the vulnerable and elderly are amongst the most heinous offences carried out with everlasting consequences to the victim. Priority and innovative legislation and policing including technological advances must be developed to address this problem. The civil rights of the perpetrator CANNOT be allowed to outweigh the rights of the victim and the safety of our community. Statistically there are offenders who have carried out specific types of crimes that present at a much higher risk of reoffending than others and this must be taken into consideration in their long-term management, even after their parole is completed. It has long been proven that an increase in visual police presence reduces the level of crime significantly, this must be a priority for government. We often forget or do not hear of the long-term psychological effects on the victims, the only way to eradicate these life altering events is to ensure that the crime is not committed. The priority for law-enforcement must be one that focuses on being proactive rather than reactive.

06.01.2022 R U OK Day 2020 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone facing situations and circumstances that are unprecedented. Today's focus is insuring that those around us are coping and doing OK. Just by making someone feel supported and letting them know you care can make a positive difference in their life. Dale

04.01.2022 Statement: Walking and talking today with one of my beautiful nieces pictured below I looked at her and thought, we are given the gift of children to shape educate and to invest in their future and they in turn will be the contributors to our country. If we get it right.Which brings to me the conversations I have been having during the past week with people all over the electorate regarding our education system. The information I have received would indicate that there are... a number of significant issues which need to be addressed immediately. Teachers have outlined personal safety as a major concern while stating that they are ill-equipped and under resourced to do the job effectively. They also raised issues over the format and criteria of what they are instructed to teach. Parents are also concerned over the syllabus and apparent deterioration of educational standards, both of students and teachers within the system. A number of parents I spoke with believe that the school needs to focus on delivering traditional educational content rather than social or GENDER issues which should be the responsibility of the parent to teach. My One Nation colleague in New South Wales, Mr Mark Latham has worked extensively identifying these issues and has raised them parliament in an effort to rectify the situation, steps that also need to be taken in Western Australia. It is clear that our education system is in need of an urgent review. Children are the states greatest resource, our future relies entirely on their outcome. If elected I am committed to ensure the highest possible standard of education is provided to all students and that teachers are valued, respected and sufficiently resourced within the state of Western Australia. 04.01.2022 Recent Past Just six months ago West Australians were shocked and alarmed at the sight of empty shelves at their local supermarkets. There were urgent calls from all sectors that Western Australia needed to immediately increase its ability to become self-sufficient to be able to cope in times of crisis. Increasing the number and diversity of local primary producers and manufacturing industries was identified as priorities for this goal to be achieved. People were vocal abou...t purchasing products that supported local West Australian businesses to ensure their sustainability and viability. Unfortunately we have very short memories. As soon as products returned to the shelves the call for local products and industry appeared to vanish. Realistically the need to become more self-sufficient is as vital today as it was six months ago. Currently we have another catastrophic situation unfolding with our fruit vegetable industry unable to harvest due to a lack of transient workers. This will again see a deterioration in produce available at our shops. Costs for for fresh produce will escalate if they are in fact available as their supply will have to come from abroad. Long term strategic plans are required to ensure that these situations are not allowed to occur. New and innovative processes for the supply of local products and produce must be explored and implemented. When the shelves are empty or the local farmer is ploughing in his unharvested crop it is too late to act.

02.01.2022 EARN IT IN WA SPEND IT IN WA PHON WA is very pleased to see a rare positive story emerge this week as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. BHP announced that it’s job advertisements will include that candidates must live in Western Australia or be prepared to relocate to the state. This decision will significantly assist the economy of Western Australia by ensuring that money generated by the resources found in the state actually remain in the state.... One can only hope that this will flow on to a number of regional centres that currently see little if any benefit from mining operations in their area. I have always found it bizarre that we have put so much emphasis on ratios for gender and ethnicity in the work place yet there has never been ratios to ensure the employment of local people, especially in the mining sector. Let’s hope that these changes remain in place long after the removal of border restrictions and that other mining companies and major employers implement the same policies. See more
