21.01.2022 Say hello to some of the Class of 2020 Cooma Jail Lambs. Julia Gilroy, Ground Maintenance Overseer, Cooma Correctional Centre has sent through some photos of the inmates looking after to orphaned lambs of 2020. If you would like to help out with a donation you can head to South East Rural on Bombala Street and purchase a bag of powdered lamb milk for $65.... This is such a wonderful initiative from the Cooma Correctional Centre and we are very proud to help be a play our part in helping out. Congratulations Julia and team.

17.01.2022 WOW what a few big months we have all had to endure I hope everyone has kept well and safe, we have set a date finally for our follow-up Meeting for the Show. Wednesday 10th June at Buckleys Crossing Hotel 6.30pm, anyone that chooses to come along to this meeting MUST order food as to abide by COVI 19 restrictions. If you can please let Natalee know so we can provide correct numbers to Sharon by COB Tuesday 9th June.

Farmers across the Snowy Monaro Regional Council area are being invited to express interest in... being part of a TV production. The producers are looking for a farm and accommodation. They need: - Private landowner running beef cattle on property - A property that is green (even 'green drought' green works!) - Accommodation for 3 to 4 crew and 5 show participants - The ability to assist participants to 'experience farm life' - Available from mid October through to beginning of December A fee will be paid to the private landowner by the show. 09.01.2022 AN STG ANNOUNCEMENT Shut The Gate Little Grocer The Gate Keeper & The Dreamer have decided to launch a new business in the middle of the worst plague in genera...tions. What a splendid commercially sensible idea. This may or may not work but by God we will go down fighting! From tomorrow our Snowy Mountains Cellar Door will re opened as Shut The Gate Little Grocer. A one stop shop for beer, wine and groceries. We will supply our local community with the basic staples of life along with some luxury and comfort. We will have fresh fruit, veggies and eggs along with the famous Three Mill artisan breads, tarts and croissants delivered fresh weekly. The Shut The Gate providore range of gourmet delights will continue to be available as will the full range of our award winning wines (sorry no tastings). In line with the coronavirus hygiene guidelines we have rigid cleaning processes, limits in the number of customers at any one time and unfortunately no lingering longer. Please bring your own bags.
