21.01.2022 Would you agree that feeling secure is important, especially for your kids?
21.01.2022 Another round of counting tomorrow.
19.01.2022 I'm doing this for your family and mine. It's been the same for way too long. Wouldn't you agree?
17.01.2022 Being the most multicultural city in Australia, do you think we need to do more in integreating different cultures into our city? How do we best do that? How do we create an inclusive environment where everyone feels like they can contribute? What are some of the communal goals that we can have and strive for together?
14.01.2022 Hey guys, a quick update. Running in as close-ish second. Counting continues.Hey guys, a quick update. Running in as close-ish second. Counting continues.
13.01.2022 Counts thus far if it ends up being between Angela and I there will be 3377 preference votes. Though hard to know that until the final count is done this Thursday. I will need approximately 57% of the preference vote.
06.01.2022 I'm very disappointed to say that I didn't win this years Council Elections. With saying that I'd like to thank every person that's helped me one way or another in the last 6-8 weeks. It really shows the community spirit and that we can get around each other. There's just so many of you to thank and I'll be forever grateful. Congratulations to Angela for winning. ... I've met a lot of amazing people along the way and it would be great to continue those connections. Who know's what the next 4 years will look like and whether or not I will run again. For the moment I think it's important to focus on family and friends and support each other as we get out of this COVID situation and make sure that everyone is healthy and well. Once again Thank you so very much for messages of support. It's up to all of us to keep our Councillors honest and continue to deliver for our area. So I encourage you to touch base with the Councillor regularly to voice your opinion and provide advice on how to make our area a better place to live. If you see something that's not quite right, raise your hand and be an active community member. This is something that all of us can do and I am going to be with you on this journey for the next 4 years - though not officially as a Cr. Many thanks once again.
06.01.2022 The campaign is officially over and life is back to normal. We even went to the park today! Thank you so very much to you and everyone else that's been there for me and supported the vision of Dandenong that I had and seems like a lot of other people had as well. Thank you for interacting me, providing me with your ideas, sharing your outlook on our area, sharing your issues no matter how sensitive, your support, passion, for calling me up to see if I'm okay or asking me if... I can bring a board over to put in your front yard, to having a chat with me in general and everything in between. I want to also thank you for getting involved and I want to encourage you to keep doing what you are doing. It's important to keep those in power committed and honest. People like you are so vital in making sure things get done. I decided to run relatively late about 2-3 or so months before the election and I've been absolutely amazed at the response I've got from the community. From here on, regardless of the outcome of the election it's important to continue to pursue those same dreams for our area and you will see me continue to do that. For anyone interested, I'll share my journey through Facebook and YouTube and you are more than welcome to join me. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much. It's truly been a humbling experience. Cheers, Dalibor
05.01.2022 Do you feel like you are getting value for your rates? Do you know the services that the Council offers? Do you even use the resources that the Council offers? I'd like to shine some more light so that you get the most out of your rates.
02.01.2022 How many votes do you think I'll get as first preference (where someone put 1 next to my name). We're almost crossing the finish line so let's play a game. There's 7 candidates A total of 5900 votes cast (*as of yesterday) How many do you think I'll get?
02.01.2022 If I'm honored with the position as a Cr, I'd like to do this with you.
