As of this week our entire team will be wearing face masks in the salon at all times, but we promise we are still smiling underneath our masks. You will are our smiles in our eyes .. ... Were asking if you would like to wear a mask please feel free to do so we want you & our other guests visiting at the same time to feel comfortable when you visit us at Dalliance in Oatley. While not compulsory, NSW Health is strongly encouraging people to wear a mask. The recommendations have been made for businesses & situations where you are in an enclosed space & you cannot guarantee social distancing in customer facing roles, such as hair and beauty salons. So we do ask: If you are not feeling well please reschedule - call us if we are open or Facebook message, Instagram DM or email us if we are closed to give us as much notice as possible. 22.01.2022 Fresh new look at Dalliance This is one amazing team of painters & decorators @keiranbyrne007 Its been 6 years since Dalliance has had a fresh coat of paint (when we opened) and it looks amazing ... Kieran was booked in to freshen up the salon the end of March. Instead of that happening we closed the salon as the pandemic unfolded. Keiran was so understanding when I asked if we could postpone the decorating to a later date. It was all so unknown and the timing just wasnt right. We now have a fresh new look and I cant recommend @keiranbyrne007 and Harold enough! Obsessed with our new wallpaper The salon looks like a brand new space. 11.01.2022 Exciting News More appointments available We are so excited to be re-opening the salon every Thursday from next week So if your around on a Thursday and fancy WFH (Working from Hair salon ), we would love to see you ... https://www.kitomba.com/bookings/dalliancehair The decision to stay closed on a Thursday was the right thing for us to do. It became our back up day our team rest day and a day we could open at the last minute if needed to cover a unwell team member but still look after our booked guests. It has worked so well, and gave us breathing space. But the time to reopen is now, because quite simply we dont have enough appointments available for our guests and are fully booked our late night and Saturdays way up to Nov / Dec! 02.01.2022 Celebrating 6 years Sending out a HUGE Thank you to all of our amazing guests @dalliancehair in Oatley. Thank you for all for your support over the years, for the passion and loyalty that you have always shown, and for still being here in the year that has been 2020 Your visits to the salon allows us to share, create, make connection and most of all, laugh ... To my team - Thank you for your dedication, care and continued support. You have all been so willing and able to grow, change, change, and change again and adapt with the grace you all have. You are all the reason that its all working so well This year has taught me so much...but most of all it has shone a light on the need to slow down and do less. Since I opened Dalliance in 2014 I have been running to try and fit all of life in. If you know me well you know I can be a complete scatter brain I am now so aware there is only so much I can do well . A few months ago I was feeling ready to walk away from the Salon...it was so overwhelming. I ended up being unwell / burnt out - mentally & physically. My team took the lead and gave me the space to switch off and rest I now have a new way forward, and its realising that I cant do it all and no longer want to. My babies are now 6 & 4...not so little anymore, that time has flown and I want to soak it all in, slow down and be present with them when I can I want to be a great leader & the best boss I can be for my team. I want to continue to show up & support them professionally & emotionally now and into the future I want to know I have done all I can as a small business owner to make Dalliance thrive & grow for my team & I for years to come So this year Ive seen my biggest growth yet...stepping away from behind the chair to be beside my team and work more on my business.
