17.01.2022 MEN'S PREMIER LEAGUE RESULTS Willoughby Dalleys FC have one hand on the trophy after a strong win against Northbridge Football Club on Saturday night, headlined... by a hat-trick to Rory Spiers. Now three points clear of their opponents, only a 23-goal turnaround would prevent Dalleys finishing the season on top. Berowra Football Club did what they needed to keep their title chances alive by defeating Mount Colah "Colts" Football Club, but with the Dalleys-Northbridge result not going their way dreams of a fairytale return to Premier League are finished. At the other end of the table, losses in both grades for Chatswood Rangers Football Club against West Pymble FC potentially consigned them to relegation after over 30 years in the top flight, despite Knox United also losing both their matches against Seniors - North Sydney United Football Club. The fate of Rangers now rests on the MAA2 promotion battle. In the battle of comfortable mid-table sides, it was Lindfield FC who came out on top against Old Barker Football Club at Charles Bean Oval.
