24.01.2022 Car Park Upgrades | Dalyellup SLSC We have upgraded the Dalyellup Beach Surf Life Saving Club car park, with a new one-directional flow and a defined entry ...and exit point. The car park is currently open for public use. We will close the car park on 21 September (weather dependent) for re-sealing and line marking.

14.01.2022 Car park works | Dalyellup We are conducting works at the Dalyellup Beach Surf Life Saving Club car park from 8 to 9 September. That car park is still open for public use. Please exercise caution when in the area and follow traffic management.

13.01.2022 SLSWA is calling for nominations for members wishing to complete to Rescue Water Craft (Jetski) Operators Awards. Nomination forms must be received by 5pm on M...onday 31 August 2020, so if this is something youd like to do, please email [email protected] and we can assist. The course will run out of Busselton SLSC from Tuesday 29 September - Sunday 4 October (6 days). Start time is 7am each day, with finish times varying. Total duration is 40 hours with a minimum of 20 hours on the water. Applicants must meet the following criteria: Hold a current SLS Bronze Medallion Must provide a copy of a Recreational Skippers Ticket with nomination form Be a current member of our Club Have suitable level of physical fitness and no pre-existing injuries or medical conditions that would inhibit participation in the course Be available for all dates specified for selected course Be at least 18 years of age at the time of assessment

Registrations are now open for the 2020/2021 season, with programs kicking off on the 1st November 2020.

Our senior awards night went ahead tonight and we certainly made use of all the hygiene items from the special purple box. 04.01.2022 COVID-19 Update -Training Cancelled This afternoon SLSWA issued a bulletin outlining all non essential activities need to be discontinued. As a result of this ALL club based coaching and training will be suspended until further notice. Life Saving Patrols at this stage are still considered an essential activity and even if Sunday Morning Nippers is cancelled, Dalyellup Beach SLSC will still have a patrol in attendance. For those members rostered on, if you are displaying flu ...like symptoms, in the interest of safety to fellow members, please contact your patrol captain so they can call in a replacement if necessary. The board will make a decision before the weekend if Sunday morning Woodside Nippers will be continuing or not. We apologise for the disruptions and inconvenience and will endeavour to keep you up to date as directives come through.

02.01.2022 The COVD-19 implications are creating havoc with many sporting associations and Surf Life Saving WA is no exception. As you should be aware, State Championships was cancelled and many larger clubs have had to finish the season early due to the 500 people limit on gatherings. At this stage training organised by Dalyellup Beach SLSC will still be going ahead this week as scheduled. Due to our relatively low numbers, we are still planning to run Sunday Nippers for the remainin...g two weeks although this position may change at short notice. Our points events were finalised last weekend so if you feel it is in your familys best interests to not attend on Sundays, there is no disadvantage in terms of age champion placing. This is normal for the last 2-3 weeks anyway to allow for time to sort certificates etc. There may also be a need to adjust the timing of the senior awards night, and we will keep you up to date as decisions are made. As recommended by the State Government if you are displaying any cold or flu like symptoms, or have been in contact with anyone returning from overseas then we would ask that you do not attend training or Sunday Nippers to minimise the risk to fellow club members.
