25.01.2022 5kg of organic almonds soaking in spring water! After soaking I put them in a dehydrator for 24-48 hours and they come out crunchier and yummier than when they ...started! This is what we call an 'Activated Almond' I always soak my nuts, seeds, beans, grains, and lentils for 12-24 hours in spring water to start the sprouting process which will make them much more digestible. Soaking helps break down the undesirable phytic acid and lectins. When you eat foods with these phytic acids still intact, they bind with important minerals such as calcium, zinc, magnesium, iron, and copper and prevent absorption. Phytic acid also has the potential to block protein absorption. Lectins are carb-binding proteins that stick to the lining of the small intestine and damage the sensitive villi responsible for transporting nutrients into the bloodstream. Eventually, lectins damage the villi so badly that leaky gut syndrome occurs. Leaky gut means that the very delicate lining of the small intestine is so damaged that particles of undigested food, proteins, toxins, and other pathogens are able leak into the bloodstream and bind to tissues and organs throughout the body. As a reaction, the body increases inflammation to protect the affected tissue. This is why lectins are also linked with autoimmune disorders like IBS, Chron’s, colitis, thyroiditis, fibromyalgia, arthritis and so on. Here is a list of benefits when you soak your grains, beans, nuts, and seeds: Remove or reduce phytic acid Neutralize enzyme inhibitors Eliminate or reduce lectins, gluten, tannins, goitrogens, and other antinutrients that are hard for the body to break down Encourage the production of beneficial enzymes Increase nutrient content, especially vitamin B Break down hard-to-digest proteins in grain, making them easy-to-digest Increase bioavailability of proteins Prevent mineral deficiencies and bone loss Organic food can be expensive so I find buying bulk is the best way to save money! Being prepared is the best way to avoid eating shitty food, if you always have good food around you, you can't get caught out

22.01.2022 The Japanese call it Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to Forest Bathing. A practice used widely around the world to assist people to disconnect and detox from ...the digital matrixand helps restore many different biological functions within the body. Are you feeling stressed, unwell, out-of-balance, confused, anxious or depressed? Are you suffering from a disease or are you needing some fresh inspiration? Well the first thing I would prescribe for you is a good few hours of Forest Bathing It's time to have a break from the Internet and take time to nurture our INNER-NET so we can tap into our divine guidance and be filled with a clear sense of inner-knowing. Forest Bathing has been my way to destress and to gain fresh inspiration for as long as I can remember. I take myself out into a lush green forest for a journey of sensory immersion amongst nature. I turn my phone off and I leave behind all of my worries as I head out for a gentle walk amongst the trees taking time to observe the plants, the birds, the animals the insects, the flowing water and to feel the deep connection to this earth. I breathe in deeply the refreshing aromas of the health-enhancing terpenes that are being continuously released by the treesand plants. Terpenes are the fragrant molecules that have profound healing effects on our physiology and they have been scientifically proven to boost your immune system, reduce high blood pressure, destress your body by relaxing our parasympathetic nervous system, thus reducing stress hormones and allowing us to feel less fatigued. I always gain fresh inspiration in nature, I come home with new insights, new ideas and new ways to help inspire humanity. If you are healing disease in the body I would highly recommend that you take regular adventures out in nature to allow your body and mind to be still and to escape the harmful effects of the wirelessmatrix that we have all become so accustomed to. Take time out today to get in nature or check out my upcoming event up in the Perth Hills, I am facilitating a group Forest Bathing session and teaching people how to reconnect to Mother Earth and to destress the mind during a beautiful walk through the forest Click this link to register your FREE ticket: https://www.facebook.com/events/755025154865907/

22.01.2022 As more countries ban iPads and mobile phones from the classroom, could Wifi be giving our children cancer? Many people say I am crazy for thinking that wireles...s technology is harming us but look what the experts are saying. Top cancer expert Prof Anthony Miller claims Wifi beamed through classrooms could be as dangerous as tobacco and asbestos Prof Miller of Toronto University says Wifi should not be allowed in schools Some nations have begun banning or restricting Wifi, as well as mobile phones See more

17.01.2022 What an amazing experience it was holding space for a group of 25 people at my first ForestBathing event last Sunday I led the group into a forest in Mundarin...g WA for an afternoon of relaxation, rejuvenation and complete immersion in nature All phoneswere switched off so we could all completely disconnect from the digital matrixand absorb the revitalising energy of mother earth It was absolutely fascinating to watch each person start to relax and unwind in this beautiful serene environment. The minute I gave everyone permission to kick back on their yoga mat, meditate, journal or just rest I watched them one by one doze off and within 30 minutes, 80% of the people were asleep. It was a truly amazing experience for me to witness, everyone looked so at peace and at one with the earth exactly as we were designed to be. Making time to relax in nature is one of the best things you'll do for your health If you missed this event be sure to join us at my next Forest Bathing experience and give yourself the healing gift of nature so you can be the best you can be when you return back to your busy life. #shinrinyokuoz #forestbathingoz #shinrinyokuaustralia

17.01.2022 Delicious plant-based lunch! Mexican stuffed sweet potatoes, guacamole and coconut yogurt! all made from 100% organic ingredients To start off with I sliced ...several sweet potatoes down the middle long ways, then greased an oven tray with coconut oil and roasted them slowly at 160c until they were soft but still held their shape. I then cooked up the Mexican bean salsa starting off by adding a dash of coconut oil to a large saucepan, a large diced onion, 1/2tsp cumin powder and then gently fried these ingredients until the onions softened. Then I added 500ml of tomato puree out of a jar, not a can(the acid in the tomato leaches chemicals from the plastic lined cans) and then I added 1 diced red capsicum, the juice of a lime, 3 cups of cooked kidney beans(I soaked them overnight before cooking them), 2 cloves of crushed garlic, 1-2 tsp celtic sea salt, a good pinch of dried oregano, 300ml spring water, plenty of fresh ground black pepper and a dash of olive oil. I simmered this until it thickened and then added a tsp of chili (adjust this depending on how spicy you like it) to give it some kick! Next was the guacamole: I started off with a ripe avocado, I peeled it and diced into small pieces and placed it into a bowl. Then I added a small diced Spanish onion, a large diced tomato, a clove of crushed garlic, juice of a lime and a small handful of diced fresh coriander and then mashed it with a fork until it was well combined. Next, I placed one of the roasted sweet potatoes halves on a plate and poured some of the spicy bean salsa over it. Then I served up some of the guacamole next to the Mexican sweet pot and finished it off with a good dollop of coconut yogurt and garnished it with diced fresh coriander and spicy paprika sprinkle!! It was amazing!! Such a great combination of flavours and so nourishing! You can replace the kidney beans for any type of bean or lentil, also you can replace the lime for lemon. Happy cooking!

14.01.2022 This is a super healthy plant-based Kale salad that tasted amazing! I am not normally a big fan of eating raw kale salads just because I don't really like the ...taste. However, in this salad, it tasted great! It consisted of chopped kale, thinly sliced red cabbage, diced tomato cucumber pieces, diced red capsicum and plenty of hemp seeds. Then I made a dressing consisting of balsamic vinegar, cider vinegar, olive oil Celtic sea salt and a bit of crushed garlic! It was tangy and delicious and so nourishing to the body! Everything is 100% organic

12.01.2022 In the last 20 years, I've come from a place where I was abusing my body, eating the worst food ever, not exercising and not contributing to the world and the g...reater good. I used to go to parties where I would take recreational drugs, drink booze and smoke shitty street weed. While these experiences were fun at the time, they always left me feeling down, depleted and completely disconnected in life. These days I throw health conscious parties where I get to serve up green smoothies, aphrodisiac shots and chocolate herbal concoctions. We go on light journeys under my "Pandora StarDeep Trance Light" enjoying mood stimulating frequencies and a kaleidoscope of coloured visuals We have DJ's and live music and we hang out with the coolest cats ever! Everyone is always buzzing, completely high on life and the best bit is that we all wake up the next day feeling absolutely amazing! It's awesome how rapidly your life changes when you start to get healthyand start to detox your body. When you change your bad eating habits, change the way you think, change the way you breathe, change the way you interact with other human beings. You wake up every day inspired and energised and ready to take on the world. It's never easy changing the way you do everything, but let me tell you it is so worth it! Living an inspired life of health and contribution is better than any drug I have ever tried! Doing my part to help heal humanity is the best thing I ever decided to do and I'll never look back! I choose life! I choose health! We all have a choice to do and be whatever we want to be in this life, it's up to us. It's never too late to change!

07.01.2022 This is how you look after your gut health! 21 litres of homemade organic Kim Chi! I always rave on how good cultured food like this is for gut health in m...y lectures but I had no idea how easy it is to make! We need plenty of beneficial bacteria in our digestive tract to have a healthy and balanced body and a deficiency of this type of bacteria can lead to a host of illnesses. All of these amazing bacteria are what help build our beneficial gut flora. By having strong gut flora allows us to digest food better and prevents digestive problems like gas, bloating, reflux, constipation, diarrhea, irritable bowel, Crohn's, gastritis and many other digestive complaints. If your gut flora is out of balance you are also more likely to suffer from a weakened immune system, reoccurring infections, and even depression. Antibiotics destroy bad bacteria when we get sick but sadly they are non-selective and wipe out all of our good bacteria too This can produce even more problems as you need the beneficial bacteria to make your immune system strong to fight illness. Even if you don't take antibiotics in a pillform, many people are killing off their gut flora eating conventionally farmed animal products(including farmed fish like Tasmanian salmon). These days many conventional farms(non-organic) feed the animals food full of antibiotics as a staple in their diet. Conventional food is grown with toxic chemicals, these chemicals not only poison humans, but it also poisons the animals that get fed these foods. These chemicals weaken the animal's immune system making them vulnerable to disease, hence why they load up the animals feeds with antibiotics in a bid to prevent the animals from getting sick. Then we eat these animal products loaded with chemicals and antibiotics and wonder why we have gut problems What can we do about it.......... 1) Eat organic or homegrown food 2) Eat organic animal products 3) Or don’t eat animal products 4) Introduce more cultured foods into your diet So what's an affordable way to introduce an abundance of beneficial bacteria into your body without buying expensive probiotics? Make your own fermented/cultured foods! I had never fermented my own foods before so I asked my brother from another mother, Charles(the beneficial bacteria master) for some one on one coaching. He gladly walked me through this process and showed me the simple process of culturing my very own batch of organic Kim Chi! I went to the farmers market and picked up some great deals on fresh organic vegi's, then headed for the kitchen! First of all, we placed all of my 3-litre jars in the oven and slowly heated them up to 180C to sterilise them. Then we sliced up a heap of Chinese cabbage, carrots, red capsicum, chili's, kale, radish, beetroot, garlic, onions, spring onion, garlic and put them all in a huge stainless steel bowl. Next, we added Celtic sea salt, turmeric powder, and plenty of ginger powder because I couldn't find any nice fresh ginger. To make the Kim Chi more powerful I sprinkled medicinal mushroom powder over the mix and I then proceeded to pound all of the vegi's with a stone pestle for about 3 minutes. After that, I massaged the mix with my bare hands to ensure all of the powders were evenly combined with the vegetables. After cooling the jars I started filling them with the Kim Chi mix ensuring to squash it all down with my fist. Once each jar was 3/4 full we folded Chinese cabbage leaves in half and pushed 3-4 leaves per jar firmly on top of the Kim Chi mix to ensure that it was all fully submerged in the salty juice being released from the vegetables to prevent spoilage or mould from growing on the surface. Then we put the lids on and let them stand overnight at room temperature to start the fermentation process. It's warm here in Perth at the moment and by the morning I woke to 7 very lively jars, bubbling away, all in desperate need of me to gently open the lids to release the gas being released by the beneficial bacteria(you need to do this daily to avoid pressure building up in the jars). It takes about 3-7 days for the Kim Chi to fully ferment but you can keep culturing it further if you want depending on how you like it to taste. After it is finished fermenting you keep it in the fridge until you are ready to eat it! All of the organic vegetables that I used in this mix, cost me around $120, most of it I bought from East Perth farmers market. It works out just under $6 per kg making it this way, what an epic deal! This would easily cost $20 per kg for organic store bought Kim Chi, so it's so worth making your own! I recommend eating some type of fermented/cultured food daily for optimal health. I will do a video in the near future to show you each step of making Kim Chi in finer detail.

03.01.2022 To all of my health-conscious fb friends, I have some GREAT NEWS to share that is sure to benefit many of you! I have just manifested my biggest lifelong goal...to have my very own Retreat Centre!! A place where I can fulfil my life's purpose helping people to get healthy and to become the best versions of themselves. I have now secured a huge facility for all of us to come together to share our inspiration, products and services! A place where we can run conscious events to help people heal, help them to detox and to help them to rejuvenate themselves! Also, a place where all of us thought leaders and inspirational speakers can get away and to take time out for ourselves to clear our minds. I have been staring at this photo for nearly 2 years, visualising this property as if it was my very own. With very limited finances I actually had no idea how I could make this happen, but I do know that if you hold your focus on what you want for long enough, it will one day become your reality. After a string of events, constant determination and some financial support from a friend, 4 weeks ago I signed a lease for the property and moved in!! I am working towards making this facility available in the next 6 months for many of you to use for workshops, retreats, private functions and any type of health-related events but first of all, I need help to get it off the ground. The retreat centre is located on a 52-acre property, surrounded by trees in Gidgegannup WA only 54 minutes from the city. The building has 20 rooms and sleeps up to 40 people! It has an epic commercial kitchen, a walk-in cool room, a separate food prep room and heaps of space to run food workshops. Most excitingly it has a huge restaurant that seats up to 80 people!! My goal is to open up the restaurant on Saturday nights for vegan, wood-fired pizza which will be nicely complemented by our tonic bar that will be serving energising herbal elixirs! Adjoining the restaurant there is a beautiful lounge room, with high ceilings which will be used as our cinema or for private functions. Then there’s an amazing octagonal room which is now our sound healing temple and it has an epic gym that’s fitted out with commercial gym equipment. I have a huge vision to make this a thriving facility for us all to come together, to enjoy amazing organic food, build community and to create a space where people can come from near and far for education, inspiration and healing. The insides of this building are immaculate and need very little attention but the gardens and the courtyard outside the cabins are going to need some love. I have lots of work to do, and limited budget so I am reaching out to my fb friends that may be interested in contributing. To start off with I am looking for 5 people to live on-site with me. 5 individuals that are willing to pay rent and contribute some of their time to help me build this vision. These 5 people will have access to all the amenities, organic veggie gardens and will play an integral role in helping me bring this retreat centre to life. We will live together, eat together, build the gardens together, stay fitand healthy together and most importantly, establish this retreat centre together. The type of people that I am looking for would be conscious, energetic, healthy, inspired, fast learning individuals that work well as a team and aren’t scared to get their hands dirty. I would especially consider you if you were a wholefood cook, yoga teacher, massage therapist, natural health practitioner, sound healing facilitator, electrician or anyone who has strong building skills. If you are the sort of person that loves building community, is passionate about helping people to thrive and would love to live a life away from the busy city and this sounds like a vision that you would love to be a part of, then please PM me for more details. If you are interested in helping out but not living on-site then I would be very grateful for anyone that is able to donate their time, services, products or any other resources to help me bring this project to fruition. I have also created a GoFundMe page, for those who are able to donate and help me bring this vision to life, just click this link: gf.me/u/w8rkvy I am needing at least $50k to be able to open the doors in the next 6 months and propose to use the funding for the following: Indoor plants and decorative pots. Bricks for retaining wall around the edible gardens. Bricklayer. Organic soil, organic manure, & chemical-free wood chips. Wood-fired pizza oven. Raised colourbond garden beds. Shade sails. Rainwater tanks. Fencing to keep the Kangaroos out of the edible gardens. Bed heads and bedroom furniture. Curtains and doona covers. Garden nursery. Infrared sauna. Garden mulcher/shredder I appreciate all of the donations and support that any of you have to offerand I hope to see you all out at Gidgegannup real soon at our 1st event Open Day! Have an amazing day! Thank you, thank you, thank you! - Damian

02.01.2022 Here is a delicious, healthy idea for dinner! Plant-based Satay Shish Kebabs! This is my peanut-free, spicy satay sauce drizzled over a combination of organi...c BBQ'd vegetables Satay sauce ingredients: 1 large onion 1 cup of cashews juice of 1/2 lime 1-2 tsp of chilli flakes or fresh chilli 1/2 cup of coconut cream 2 cloves of garlic 1 level tsp celtic sea salt 1 1/2 cup of spring water Fry a finely diced onion in a little coconut oil until its soft, then place in a high powered blender. Then lightly roast the cashews in the oven at 170c for about 10 minutes ensuring they don't burn then add to the blender. Roasting the nuts gives the sauce a beautiful nutty flavour. Add the lime juice, chilli flakes, coconut cream, garlic, celitic sea salt and 1 cup of spring water to the blender. Start blending and observe how thick the mixture is, you may need to add the other 1/2 cup of spring water, add as needed and blend until smooth. Ideally, you want to adjust the amount of water until you have a thick but pourable Satay sauce Shish Kebab ingredients: Use any of your favourite vegetables Cherry tomatoes Capsicum Zucchini Sweet potato Pineapple Onion Olives Pumpkin Squash Eggplant Cut them into 2-3cm square pieces, cherry tomatoes leave whole, firmer vegetables like sweet potato, pumpkin, eggplant and squash will require steaming first to slightly soften them so they easily slide on the bamboo skewers and so they aren't too hard to eat. Once you cut the vegetables and steam them(if required), slide piece by piece of your favourite combinations on bamboo skewers and then place them on a tray. I like to then cook my shish kebabs on the BBQ grill to get that yummy smokey flavour(you can also cook them in a standard home grill). I cook them gently and keep turning them until they have a nice roasted look. Once they are ready, place them on a plate and drizzle the Spicey Satay Sauce over them, then serve and enjoy!!
