01.01.2022 Meet one of our elderly clients, Stan. Stan has just sold his property and looking to move into a retirement home. Stan does not use the internet and rarely uses his email (he was not aware that he had one). He is very traditional and prefers face to face appointments. To save Stan the hassle, we communicate with Stan over the phone and bring his legal documents to his front door. We use this time to go through the documents in person and answer any of his questions. ... We also found out that Stan’s will was extremely outdated and was no longer relevant. We discussed the possibility of drawing up a new will and a power of attorney, which Stan has now signed today. We truly believe in going that extra mile where needed for our clients, no matter what situation they are in and no matter what it takes.
