Neither of them have facebook, so they won't see this on their own, but maybeee someone will show them

14.01.2022 Its a day to say T H A N K Y O U The 2020 season rounds out 3 years of Pup coaching our Reserves side. Due to work commitments, he isn't able to sign on next year, but will still be around the club whenever possible. But we want to say a HUGE THANKYOU!... In the last 3 years as Reserves Coach, Pup has achieved alot, recruiting new players, being named co Club Person of the Year in 2019 and being named the NPFL Coach of the Year in 2018, just to name a few. All of his behind the scenes work doesn't go unnoticed either.. We are on the lookout for a new Reserves Coach for the 2021 season, so keep an eye out in the next day or 2 for the post. Send through a message if you're interested!

11.01.2022 P L A Y E R Q & A R E E C E S T E W A R T ... How long have you been playing footy & when did you start at the sharks ? Started my footy career at the age of 6 or 7 with the sharks in under 10’s and haven’t missed a season since Why the Sharks? What drew you to the Club? Growing up in Dampier as a kid made sense to play for the local team. As I’ve got older it’s the location, the colours and people that keep me coming down every year Any Nicknames ? Ray Ray, Raymond, rayzor, ragor, raylene, rozotto, rashid, rozmondo, pop eye, hammerhead. Many more I can’t think of right now Best memory/memories on the field or around the club ? Lots of good on field memories, even more off field. Any of our big finals wins are always good ones, or when we had 11 boys double up to play a game in south hedland and still come away with a win were great. Couple of my favourites would be red being a late out with concussion after one of the boys in the opposite group kicked a flower bag into the side of his head just before the game. Another one was seeing Pup cop a 60m torpedo straight to the guts when he wasn’t looking. The sound he let out was like nothing I’ve ever heard before. Describe your perfect day off.. Getting all the boys and their families together at one of the islands drinking beers and playing games on the beach all day Any off-field secret talents ? Being late to every thing that’s ever been organised ever Best life tip/hack? Don’t dance on chairs when Gbus is lurking around What would you like the club to look like for 2021 ? I would love to see some old faces getting back down on a regular occasion, as well as plenty of new faces and people willing to put their hand up to do their part. More Dampier locals getting to the home games to give us a voice in the crowd. Numbers hanging around after the games and at our functions like we all used to. Would love to see our off field efforts pay off which will lead to more on field success. The sharks of old We have had such a great response, we're starting up our daily Past and Present Player Q&As again! We're getting in touch with past & present players, but if there is someone you want to dob in, please comment or flick us a message!
