08.01.2022 A FARM JOB WITH WAGE, HOUSE AND EASY ACCESS TO MAJOR POPULATION HUBS YOURS IF YOU WANT IT I still find it hard to understand the gulf between people out of w...ork, and work out of people, and the inability to get enough of them on the same page. I had a (yet another) phone call this morning from a Calivil dairy farmer who simply cannot get someone to come and help him and his son with their herd of 350 milkers. He has advertised, asked around and had one or two sent by employment agencies but they barely lasted two months. This is a well-paid role, includes your own house and Calivil is within easy reach of Echuca, Kerang and Bendigo for schools, shopping and other lifestyle choices. Yet no-one even seems interested in giving it a go. But with JobKeeper in its last weeks you can only hope that might motivate some to get serious about getting a job. If anyone is interested in applying for this position, please contact me and I will pass on your details. #community #vicnats #dairyfarming #Employment
