18.01.2022 WE ARE BACK ROCK N ROLL CLASSES RETURN ON TUESDAY 21st JULY! As Queensland is now in Stage 3 of COVID-19 restrictions we are finally able to offer dance classes again. We will be operating under the Dance and Physical Performing Arts Industry COVID Safe Plan which can be found at https://www.covid19.qld.gov.au/gover/covid-safe-businesses. ... This plan has been approved by Queensland Health and allows contact between non-household dancers partaking in a class. However, if you display any COVID symptoms, please stay home, self isolate until you’re well again and then join us after you’ve recovered. As we are required to keep details of everybody who attends and as there is a limit on venue capacity, we need everybody to pre book by phoning us on 0467 798 202 Thank you for your co-operation. We have a strong commitment to ensuring our community's health. If you have any concerns or questions about our processes and procedures, or any aspect of managing Townsville Dance On Rock n Roll, in this transition period, please don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected] Keep on dancing

17.01.2022 Update on restarting Townsville Dance On Rock N Roll Classes Thank you for the interest and inquiries about Dance On being able to restart classes. It is very rewarding to know that you miss your dancing as much as we do. However, at this stage, we are unable to return - but there are expected changes pending so please keep checking the Facebook page.... Being a partner dance involving close contact between dance partners, rock n roll has to follow strict guidelines that have not yet be released. We are hoping that sometime this month (July) our lesson will be able to restart. When we restart lessons, our numbers will have to be capped at 50 people it goes on the size of the hall. You will have to book in advance, no walk-ins will be permitted, and all government guidelines will be followed. Our utmost priority is to keep our dancers, instructors, and helpers safe, adhere to the health regulations and requirements, and also to avoid the associated fines for both ourselves and the venue.
