Thank you so much to our teachers/staff for all their dedication and hard work not only over the last couple of days but every week in rehearsals. Thank you to everyone at ROD - Revolution of Dance for having us and their love and support especially during a series of unfortunate events. Always so accommodating, helpful and friendly. Love checking the score board with some sections so close with only a 0.5 point between competitors. Big, tough sections but our students all did us proud. 24.01.2022 This is what our students dont see behind the camera! Hours and hours of preparation! We currently have two laptops and a desk top computer running constantly converting our recordings and uploading to the Online Learning Portal. ... We have also upgraded our studio cleaning roster to keep our staff safe! Our staff roster has been staggered to allow minimal staff in the studio at once. We are amazed at the progress of our students, personally my own daughter is dancing better online. Even one of our teachers surprised herself with a new achievement last night. Althou we miss our normal studio life we are so thankful for the dedication and commitment from you all. We are happily surprised at how well you have all taken to a new way of learning and cant wait to see you all in person hopfully really soon.

20.01.2022 We have upgraded the animals on our BABY TIME Sensory Wall. During our Baby Time sessions we hang toys, rattles, and sensory items from the Ballet Barre above. 08.01.2022 BABY TIME! Monday and Thursday Mornings at the Dance It South West Studio. Sensory Play Mum & Bub... Pay as you Go Equipment cleaned between sessions as per Early Childhood Quality Standards Music Certified Early Childhood Dance Education We are following strict regulations due to current government restrictions. Students must complete a casual attendance enrolment form before attending so we can ensure we are sticking to the correct capacity in the studio and keep a record of your attendance for contact tracing requirements. All equipment is cleaned after each session for example; our parachute went into the washing machine, each soft ball went through the hot soapy water mix, climbing equipment covered with clean towels, the blue rice was discarded after use, each soft mat was washed down with a hot soapy water mix. The best part is: this is our normal Baby Time cleaning roster even before COVID, so you can be assured that your child is receiving clean, quality equipment.

02.01.2022 "FINANCE QUESTION" I have been receiving a lot of emails and phone calls regarding the same question, so in case you are also wondering the same thing...... Here is the answer!!! The invoice reminders you are all receiving are not an error, just an issue with available staff due to COVID-19.... We have a new finance system called SQUARE which unfortunately come into effect right as COVID-19 appeared its ugly head. If we had known this virus was on its way we wouldnt have activated the new finance system at that time. Square is automated, if you pay via the SQUARE app your payment will be automatically registered and a receipt sent to you. If you pay via our bank account as we used too, SQUARE will not match up your payment with your invoice and a finance staff member will mark off your payment manually. As our staff are volunteers and all hold other working jobs; unfortunately COVID-19 has made our normal staff roster impractical, our finance staff have been run off their feet as well as our dance teachers who work in the health sector, education department or running their own local business in stressful times and have been unable to attend the studio during their normal hours to manually mark off any payments coming into our account Account using our BSB details. Until our finance staff are able to pop in (hopefully next week) your payment will go unmarked, so SQUARE thinks you have not paid and are automatically sending you reminders. Therefore if you have already paid the due amount into our account, just ignore the reminder as I am not trained in the new system yet to help out our finance staff with manually marking off any payments. Although the new finance system is meant to be easier to use and understand, with everything going on in the world at the moment we just havent had the chance to work it all out or train up any other staff in that role. (when we do get a spare moment I hear it is very simple and in the future our finance department will run a lot smoother). Any one who has pre-paid into our account, paying off a payment plan or behind in payments from the previous term havent had their details switched from our old MYOB finance system to our new SQUARE finance system as yet. Don't forget to label all your items with your name.... NO need to do performance hair or make up, we are simply checking the costume. 01.01.2022 O.N.E M.O.R.E W.E.E.K for T.E.R.M F.O.U.R We did it. We made it 2020, COVID temporary shut down, COVID Restrictions, dancing in 4sm taped box's, zoom classes, hours and hours of cleaning per day and finally an outside Graduation. ... It's not the year we had origionally planned, but with extra planning, additional hours of work we still made it and it's with thanks to our amazing team at Dance It South West. The support from our 2020 students kept us motivated even when up past midnight editing video's for online learning. It's not a year I would ever want to repeat again but it's one I most certainly will never forget and one to be EXTREMLY PROUD OF! To all our staff (teachers, finance, committee, volunteers). Words will never be enough to express the love and gratitude I have for you all. Your support this year went above and beyond and it did not go unnoticed. To my husband, the hours you spent designing our online learning portal and loading video's when you yourself had been working away from home with your own extremely long work hours. Just know, myself and the students appreciate every second you spent trying to provide some kind of online learning experience to keep everyone moving/dancing at home. We have so many people to thank, I could really write a book full of thank you's.
