20.01.2022 If you're struggling for something to do today don't forget a few of our dancers are performing at the friend in me party at 12:30! Williamstown, Seaworks! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=327273604591387&id=142544653064284

20.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone!! My darling Jasper disposed of my phone somewhere in Qld so I have lost a lot of information and numbers. Could you please resend your class preferences for this year including what classes your children are interested in and any days you definitely cannot do and I will have our timetable done this week! Also please let me know if you didn't receive links for photos or DVD's. Both companies came in their own time to document last year's concert so be sure to support them before links expire! Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday and I'm very excited to see you all for an even better year! Miss Sarah Dancearts Xx

01.01.2022 Our latest congratulations goes to Miss Chiara Grillo for a spectacular performance at the Victorian gymnastics championships! If that wasn't enough at the end of the evening her group placed 2nd!!!! Congratulations Chiara you did great!!!

01.01.2022 A little message from Miss Sarah... The 2019 concert by far was the most important thing I've done to date (aside from having Jasper). I gave my students a platform for their greatest concerns about the world. Each class came up with a social issue important to them and I created dances using their ideas. The concert was presented as alecture with a "teacher narrator" schooling the audience on each topic before each performance. Such an amazing variety of topics were presente...d ... - 3-4yr olds - Save the trees -6yr ballet - Don't use too much electricity to save the polar bears! - 6yr boys - Save the Sharks - 6yr Jazz - We're the kids of the future - 6 yr Tap - Life is Magic (just love all the bugs..even the stink ones...) - 8yr Ballet - Palm oil! - 10yr HipHop - We need a Kids Government -10yr Jazz - Exposing animal cruelty in Circuses - 10yr Tap - More funding for hospitals and nurses - 13 yr Ballet - Climate change in particular ice melting - 13yr Contemporary - Kids in Poverty - 13yr Hiphpop - No more plastic (don't need no barbie) -17yr Ballet - Mental Health - 17yr Contemporary - Aboriginal Rights - 17yr Hiphop - LGBTQI+ Rights and marriage equality - 17yr Jazz - #metoomovement - Acro - No such thing as waste Reuse,Refuse, Reduce, recyle, repair - Solo Tap - Climate Change burning up the dance floor - Solo Contemporary - Mother Earth's plea for help I feel so lucky to have such an incredibly compassionate group of children and my hopes for the future are now not so dim! These kids and their ideas inspired me to create my page 'A More Mindful Way' and boosted me on my journey to save the planet. Jasper had spent the night before the concert in Hospital so with a one hour sleep in the car before the massive day of rehearsals the show sped past in a blur. Last night I watched the DVD and was reduced to tears with pride and real raw emotion at how perfectly it all came together! I couldn't be happier or prouder and most of all excited for this year to begin! My only concern is where is up from here!!! Looking forward to starting up again Monday!! :) Photography credit to the wonderful Kristyna E Hessova https://www.facebook.com/KristynaHessPhotography/
