21.01.2022 Brilliant to attend the seminar today directed for dance teachers as part of Queensland Ballet’s Mind, Body, Ballet event . A big part of DBBC is providing your child with a well-rounded and healthy approach to dance education and training. Today presented a wonderful opportunity to listen to industry professionals including QB’s Head of Performance Medicine, Zara Gomes with regards to management of injury and health and wellbeing for young dancers. ... Louise Drysdale then led a Panel Q&A with Lisa Edwards and Tama Barry both former dancers with the company, which highlighted the importance of approaching dance education (student/parent/teacher) from a whole. I am so proud of DBBC’s community and environment which aligns with this idea of mind, body, ballet - we are creating inspired, healthy, strong and tenacious individuals.
