23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, In consultation with Miss Jillian, I've put together this document to guide our parents and students on what to wear to dance class from now on. Miss Jillian will be emailing it out soon but I thought you might all like access to it earlier to prepare for next term. I go back to Canberra next week! AND Harriet Dobson will be performing in the role of the Dormouse!! Both April and Harriet are members of the u/10 group have really proven this year how deserving they are of more opportunities big congrats girls!! you are both becoming such lovely performers and we hope this concert is your best yet!!

Chapter 6 In this years end of year concert Sophie King will be performing in the role of the Cheshire Cat!! - the feline with a mischievous grin that leads Alice towards the tea party Sophie is a wonderful performer with amazing dance and acting skills!! she's won us over in many concert roles before and this one is sure to be her best!!

In this years end of year concert Phoebe Wadley will be performing in the role of the King of Hearts!! - the meek and tiny husband of the queen of hearts In the 2019 concert Phoebe won the award for 'Most Improved' and her confidence and skill has kept growing We can't wait to see this superstar on stage again x

In this years end of year concert Asha Eastley will be performing in the role of the White Rabbit!! - the frantic character Alice follows into wonderland Even though she's little, Asha is one of the most consistent dancers at the school with noticeable improvements every single week We just know that this role will be the first of many for this little superstar!!

18.01.2022 OUR LAST 'ALICE' CASTING ANNOUNCMENT I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then" - Alice We are very excited to announce that in this years end of year concert Chloe Neate will be performing in the role of Alice!! - Characterized by Carroll as "loving and gentle", "courteous", "trustful", and "wildly curious", Alice is clever and adventurous just like the little dancer we've chosen to play her Chloe has been a student at Dance Connection s...ince she was a toddler and we've watched her grow into such a charismatic performer !! It's not just us that thinks so either! Chloe has already been very successful at dance competitions around northern tasmania! We just know she'll be a great Alice! We're so excited to start working with Chloe and the rest of the cast on this great show!!

13.01.2022 'ALICE' CASTING ANNOUNCMENT Off With Her Head" In this years end of year concert Bella Darrow will be performing in the role of the Queen of Hearts!! a foul-tempered monarch who Carroll himself described as "a blind fury", and who is quick to give death sentences at the slightest offence Bella really impressed us in her dedication and performance as the scarecrow in last years concert so this year we're trusting her with this iconic character!! congratulations bella! we are so excited to see you on stage again!

Amelia Vidler will be performing in the role of Dinah!! - Alice's pet kitten She may be tiny but Amelia is such a beautiful little dancer with a huge smile!! and we can't wait to see all the magic she'll bring to this role!!

08.01.2022 What a way to finish 2020!! Congratulations to all students that performed in "Alice in Wonderland!" I'm so proud of everyone and am always amazed to see what we can achieve in only 8 weeks!! Ofcourse, we couldn't do any of it without the help and support of parents and friends of Dance Connection. Special thanks to Sue Ashburn for making the students shine in fabulous costumes and our backstage crew of mothers and Zoe! I can't thank you all enough!!
