19.01.2022 It’s been quite a ride taking our students fully online for classes!! But what a crazy and amazing ride it is! Watching our DFX students in class each week and seeing the improvements has been so great.... only 6 weeks ago we were unsure we would even be having any kind of classes. Our studio would not even exist without this culture and we acknowledge our associated privileges to even run a dance studio. 15.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE! With restrictions the way they are currently we are not able to open our studio just yet. With the restriction of only 20 people in the entire venue it makes it not a viable option for our current timetable. However after yesterday’s press conference if all goes well, on Monday November 23rd we will be able to have 100 people in the venue with 20 per space in a covid safe environment. This means we can take our existing zoom timetable into the studio for... the final last 2 weeks of term! Myself and all the DFX teachers are so excited to get back into the studio and see you all, even if it is only for 2 weeks! We are looking at the possibility of organising one extra week of guest teacher workshops for the students also. We will get back to you all with more exact details soon but in the meantime we will see you all on zoom for the next 2 weeks and then back in the studio for the final weeks of term. See more

10.01.2022 WORKSHOP WEEK AT DFX Monday 7th of December CONTEMPORARY WITH BRITTANY PAGE ... 5:30-6:30= 8-12yrs 6:40-7:40= 13yrs + PBT WITH KATE-ELISSAH TALLAMY 5:30-6:30= 13yrs + 6:40-7:40= 8-12yrs PBT stands for Progressing Ballet Technique. All students attending must bring their own fit ball, appropriate for their size. Tuesday 8th of December HIP HOP WITH JACK MAY 4:30-5:30 = 8-12yrs 5:40-6:40 = 13yrs + CONTEMPORARY WITH LOREDO MALCOLM 4:30-5:30 = 13yrs 5:40-6:40 = 8-12yrs Friday 11th of December MUSICAL THEATRE JAZZ WITH FIONA LUCA 4:30-5:30 = 8-12yrs 5:30-6:30 = 13yrs + The amount will be: (This amount isn’t included in Term 4 zoom fees) 1 workshop $15 2 workshops $25 3 workshops $30 4 workshops $35 Workshop with Loredo is an additional $10 You will need to book in for the workshops you would like to do as we only have 20 spaces available for each. 08.01.2022 URGENT AND EXCITING NEWS!!! After what seems like an eternity we are so excited that we will be returning back to some sort of normal and we will be re-opening as of THIS MONDAY the 22nd of June. We need our DFX family now more than ever. We’d love to see all students back in classes with a return to pre covid class numbers.... We will be opening for the final week of term 2 and going back to the normal timetable that we had pre-covid. Things may change a little once we get our heads around the new requirements. We will be privately contacting groups that are unable to start. At this moment all classes will go ahead next week except for Breakdance (this will return at the beginning of term 3) We would love to thank our families that hopped onto zoom to keep dance alive and we also look so forward to welcoming all students that waited to return to the studio and did not do zoom. To our amazing teachers that took classes via Zoom, you are all amazing and thanks so much for being a part of it and navigating through weekly updates and working through any online problems. Lastly It was devastating to us that we couldn’t get all of our teachers into zoom online teaching. This was due to timetabling, costs and student numbers. Rebecca and I can’t wait to have you all back on deck and teaching at the studio! If you paid for online classes that payment will cover you for the final week.
