24.01.2022 TERM 3 VIEWING WEEK: With the end of term fast approaching we have decided how to allow parents to view classes with regard to Covid-19.Viewing days will now spread across both Week 9 and Week 10, with one adult per child allowed to view each class.When you arrive to view your child's class you will need to fill in a form recording you name, address and contact number.We ask that you maintain safe hygiene practices and also (of course),social distancing.Viewing dates are:Week 9: Monday 7/9 - Saturday 12/9Week 10: Monday 14/9 - Saturday 19/9Please don't arrive with multiple adults in your party.Sadly our teachers must be firm with only allowing one adult per child into our dance space. 22.01.2022 Our Mummy & Me program is available for tiny dancers from 18 months of age. This wonderful class gives Mum (or the primary care giver) an opportunity to join in and share their child's experience. The environment is relaxed and friendly, with no set costuming and no obligation for little ones to continuously participate. The children are encouraged to participate, working closely with their primary care giver, giving them a sense of security and confidence. If you have younge...r ones to look-after (that are too young to participate), you are welcome to bring them along! Our Mummy & Me classes are available 6 days per week across the Sunshine Coast. Kinderballet: Come on a magic carpet ride with Miss Karen across the Sunshine Coast to visit all the places you may not be able to visit during this time. The beach, the zoo, a picnic at the park and more.... Next Steps/Aspire: A selection of technical exercises plus some imaginative dance opportunities to keep your school-age dancer moving forward with their training. BONUS CLASSES: Jazz, Lyrical, Tap and Stretch - keep an eye on the Facebook family group for Miss Karen to announce the bonus classes ahead of time. What if my child is still attending school or kindy or daycare? 09.01.2022 'Cherubs' - Ballet for Babies! Ages: 16 months to 2 years Fridays 8.45am-9.15am at Warana... Cherubs gives a child’s caregiver a beautiful and unique opportunity to nurture their cherub through music and movement. Carers enjoy an essential role in the class as they guide, support and nurture their small children through the program, as directed by the Kinderballet teacher. The Cherubs program includes songs and movement, props and storytelling. The program was created in collaboration with an early childhood specialist. Cherubs pairs the principles of Early Childhood Development with the energy and fun of dance. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 children per class. It is a very sensory experience focused and physical sensations of movement and textures. It gives a positive introduction to the routine of a structured activity. The program meets the needs and expectations of this very specific age group. It gives children the opportunity to enjoy exploring movement to music in a safe and nurturing environment.
