25.01.2022 RESURGENT IX Over the weekend we put on 3 concerts that were all absolutely incredible! My heart is so full! I am so proud of what my teachers have created with their students, it is just amazing I really think this was our best show that we have done in our 9 years, you just keep improving every-time you hit the stage and I am so proud of each and every one of you Thank you so much to those who joined us in celebrating our dancers over the weekend. I am Beyond proud of ...what they have achieved this year. They’ve all worked so hard and my self and all our teaching staff are incredibly proud of each and everyone of you . You put on a 3 awesome shows congratulations I’d like to thank each everyone or our DFDA families for sticking with us this year and for being so patient with us. There have been many changes happening this year thanks to COVID, especially with our concert and I really appreciate everyone for being so understanding and supportive of the changes that we had to make to make. I am so glad our concerts happen this year! Just this year alone we have had huge changes at the studio. A new venue, new staff, new classes & we even mastered how to learn online through zoom, which our students adjusted amazingly to! I’d like to now thank my beautiful talented bunch of teaching staff. All of our staff are incredible role models to our students and do a fantastic job in every aspect of their job. They go above and beyond to continuously make sure the students are learning and enjoying everything about performing arts and dance. They also are so supportive of our students and of each other as a team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support this year I couldn’t have done it with out you all Thank you to all of our assistant teachers you girls have done a fantastic job this year and I cannot wait to watch you learn and grow with our teacher training programme in 2021. Our fundraising ladies, you guys are just the best thank you thank you for all that you do at the studio and behind the scenes to help our studio grow And lastly thank you my other half Julie-Anne , the face that greets everyone with a smile and welcomes our families into the studio. The studio wouldn’t be where it is today with out you. There are no words to describe how greatful I am to do this with you. You do such an incredible job and I couldn’t have gotten through the year with out you. You are simply one in a million. You’ve helped me create a safe and supportive 2nd home for our students and they all adore you I’m a lucky lady to work with so many incredible students , families & staff. Bring on 2021!! We are so incredibly proud of these 2 young dancers Hayley completing a year of part time dance in the Pre-Professional Program and Aleisha completing another year in the Junior Extension Program at Dynamic Performing Arts! Both of these programs are designed to help develop students technique and overall dance abilities. The Pre-professional program a...lso helps prepare students for a career in the dance industry. Caris Holroyd danced at DFDA from the age of 12 right through until she was 18 years old. Caris then went on to study full time at Principle Academy of Dance where she completed her Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts majoring in Dance.
