After the Ritual and Ceremony of cacao, drum journey, trance dance and conscious writing ,we will stay steeped in the nectar of the energies we have co-created . With nourishing food in our bellies we will gather fireside under the night skies to listen and lean into the mystery. As light and shadow dance their dance fiercely around us on the world stage, Story and Myth give us soul's access to a larger context.. This can evoke or invite in us into a feeling space of knowing [or acceptance of the unknown], of peace or solace and illuminate understanding for our personal and collective experience and role in this dance. Story can bring delight and wonder for that child like innocence remembering a mind that could move between realms and existences as easy as breathing. The 3 dances planned for 2020 have been condensed into one spectacular event weaving the beautifu...lly symbiotic energies of ceremony with Cacoa and Trance Dance. We come together with you to co create a safe and powerful ritual.There is an acknowledged need for the return of ritual in our lives.This has led to a resurgence of ceremonies and rituals as a way to combat the lack of connection we can experience with ourselves, each other and the earth. It is needed more than ever in these times of stress, upheaval and relentless busyness. Ritual inclusive of Conscious Intention, Medicinal Plants, Meditation, Breath work and Dance was how we stayed healthy as individuals and as a collective in many cultures and traditions . We can give ourselves permission to allow our bodies to take the lead unfiltered, so we may move authentically without inhibition. We may discover in each present moment that we are dancing, sitting, stretching, lying, making sounds, releasing even doing yoga all is welcome in this safe container. Our eyes grow directly out of our brain and vision is our dominant sense. Most of what we see is constructed by the brain rather than from the world outside us. So when we put on a blindfold we redirect energy inwards and create a waking, conscious dream state. Wearing a bandana [blindfold] automatically alters your relationship to time and space.
