19.01.2022 Our Adult Dancers sure know how to party. 12 of our ladies joined us tonight at the Hoyts Cinema 80s night showing Dirty Dancing, a live band, dancing, trivia and best Dressed competition which was proudly won by Melissa Taylor from our Adult Ballet Class who dressed as She-ra. Such a fun night with an awesome group of ladies. Hopefully more can join us next time.

04.01.2022 Congratulations Kyara on a wonderful day competing at Lakeside Dance Challenge at Raymond Terrace. 15 dances and 14x 1st placings and one 2nd placing. She also won the 16/Tap Championship, 16/u Jazz Championship... Allcomers Tap Championship. To top it off she won the 16/u Adjudicators Award and $150 credit. See more

02.01.2022 Please welcome our new Pre-Junior ballet and private lesson teacher Lily Stevenson. Miss Lily discovered her love of dance when she started dancing at Dance n Dazzle at the age of 4. At a very early age she began competing in solo eisteddfods throughout Newcastle and Sydney, gaining many awards and championship wins. She was trained by Miss Corynne in classical ballet, jazz and tap completing numerous exams at Dance n Dazzle. At the age of 11, after moving away from Medowie, ...Lily began training at Newcastle Dance Academy in classical ballet, contemporary and jazz. During that time she competed in the Isobel Anderson Awards and the Genee International Ballet Competition. She also completed her RAD ballet exams. She is currently completing her HSC at HSPA and studies Travel, Tourism and Events at TAFE. Her love for music has encouraged her to study DJing at Newcastle Music Academy. Lily is looking forward to sharing her love of dance with our students. See more

02.01.2022 Please Welcome our new Classical Ballet & Contemporary Teacher Miss Brianna Dyson. Miss Brianna has a cert IV in Dance, Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management, Cert IV in Training and Management, Acrobatics Arts Teacher Certification & an Associate Diploma with the Australian Institute of Classical Dance. She has trained with Newcastle Ballet Theatre full time, Broadway Dance Centre in New York and En Avant School of Dance. She has been teaching for a couple of years now and is looking forward to teaching our students, putting our students through exams, pointework, concert work and making Medowie her future home.
