24.01.2022 Our Tuesday Intermediate class and Young Senior class were in tonight learning not only tap ballet and jazz like our younger students but also contemporary. All in the one class!! Weekdays or Saturday. Places still available for 2021. Annual performance and no costume making. Come down for a free trial

19.01.2022 Thanks for your patience as we waited confirmation from Council. Hoping to finalise in next few days. We are so excited to be back!! Online enrollments are opening soon. Existing students will have the ability to enroll first - places are limited so don’t delay. Stay tuned

18.01.2022 Concert time has arrived!!! This is such a special time where the school community unites and students perform three spectacular shows. We are so privileged to have been in a position to create and provide these happy moments and memories for you all in the past and like many - very sad that we were not in a position to do it again this year or even open our doors before the year concludes. As we draw a close to our 2020 Dance Year - one that will go down in history we are ...looking forward to coming back in 2021 and putting those smiles on you/your child’s face. We are currently waiting on confirmation from Council and as soon as we are advised we will release our 2021 Information Packs and Enrolment Forms. Until then our incredible videographer Stuart (Red Media) has created a showcase of last year’s concerts and PRACC is paying a special tribute to Dance Power on their face book page - check it out. We have an incredible team who have been with us from the beginning and we are just so proud of what we have created in this community a true Dance Family. Enjoy this highlight and we can’t wait to get back to our studios and on that stage in 2021!!

11.01.2022 To all our Students and Families Despite the easing of some restrictions, unfortunately we are still not permitted to return to the Brookwood Community Centre a community facility which under State Government guidelines must remain closed. We are very upset and sad that we are not in a position to start back on the 9 November even though dance is the most popular after-school activity for girls - a non-contact activity and majority of students under 18 years. We know our... students have struggled this year and we are fighting to open our doors before the end of the year as we know dance provides so much more friendships, physical activity and mental health benefits also. We are working closely with Council and hope to be in a position to advise soon. To our beautiful VCE students we wish you all the very best with your upcoming exams. It has been one turbulent year for you all and we have no doubt you will get through with shining colours. As always we thank you for your support and understanding.

11.01.2022 To All Our Students and Families We hope you are all well and surviving the stresses of CV-19. I was hoping to be in a position by now to say that we would be returning Term 4 but as you know this isn’t looking promising. We have also been advised that PRACC (the theatre where we have held our end of year productions the last 15 years) will be closing its doors for the rest of the year. It is hard to comprehend and like many of our students/families will be the first tim...e in many years (for me 38 and Lola 64 (she will kill me)) that we will not be involved in an end of year concert! No make-up, hair buns, costume changes, photos and incredible memories of coming together, showcasing and celebrating as a Dance Family We are hoping Government restrictions lift and Council permit us to run even a few classes before the end of the year as we know how important it is for our students health, well-being and fitness. In the meantime we do encourage you to participate in our free online classes that our incredible teachers have uploaded on our You Tube Page. 04.01.2022 We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our newest Tiny Tot to be Sophie Isabelle Yates. Huge congratulations to our beautiful Miss Jaimie and Sean on the safe arrival of your little princess. Mum and bub are doing well. We are so happy for you both and can’t wait to have you both in the studios soon.
