24.01.2022 ENTRIES Parents please check that your details on comps online have been updated- especially if you have moved schools. Please also check you write your studio name and not Independent- otherwise I have no idea where to send your performers pack! Get your entries in sooner rather than later as the closing date for entries is fast approaching! Studio owners- Ill be sending an updated spreadsheet for troupe list and extra info very soon! Please wait for this info before submitting troupe entries as it will give you info you will need to know! Please tag your teacher or friends so they can read this important info

24.01.2022 Hope everyone is staying safe and well. For me feels very strange not being stressed out around this time Just to re assure everyone. We processed our refunds the week we announced we would be cancelling our event back in March. Those that paid via PayPal the refund was automatically processed via PayPal. You may have noticed it was a partial refund- this was minus PayPal and Compsonline fees. We took no admin fees of any kind and everything we could give back to you we did.... We contacted those who bank transferred and majority have gotten back to us with their details- still waiting on a few! So if you know that was you please email us so we can process your refund immediately! We would like to give a HUGE thanks to those who donated their entry fees. We cannot express enough how much this helped us cover the costs of everything that had already been paid for. It is strange times for sure and I hope you are all hanging in there! Thank you all for your continued support!

22.01.2022 Sad knowing that normally this time would normally be full steam ahead with preparation for Dance Quest! We would have released our adjudicators, we would have had a draft program, we would have patiently waited for all the April comp changes and update the program 30+ times and we would have had a pre release on ordering merchandise! 14.01.2022 It saddens us all to inform you that we have come to the tough decision to cancel Dance Quest for 2020. With studios being forced to close, with no indication of when they can reopen, this gives no time for studios and students to get the preparation they require to compete. We have sent emails to all studio owners who will be in touch with their families. We will start processing refunds soon. If you paid via bank transfer I will be in contact with you to get your account details. Please be patient with us at this time. At this stage it looks like we might not be able to offer this service As we have just been informed dancepro are unable to attend our competition *hoping someone can do both, have the images/video available instantly on USB as this seems what most parents prefer!

08.01.2022 Now that things have started to settle down we would like to have all 2019 perpetual trophies returned. Winners will have 2 weeks to return the trophies to the places listed below, otherwise fees may apply. Any broken or damaged trophies will also receive an invoice for repairs. Please do not try to self repair as this ends up worse than allowing us to get it done correctly. We thank you for your understanding and we hope you have enjoyed having the trophies a little longer ...than usual! An email will be resent to studio owners again soon. 04.01.2022 As we still have over 2 months before Dance Quest is meant to kick off we have decided not to make any final decisions until mid April. Things are changing daily and we like to keep on the positive side of things! Obviously our final decision will be guided by the government and health department and the health and safety of our dance community is our top priority!

01.01.2022 Please bare with us whilst we come together to make an informed decision in regards to the proceedings of Dance Quest. The health and safety of our community is of upmost importance and our decision will be guided by the health department and government. As you can all understand this decision will have a huge financial impact also, due to monies being spent, as it came in, on things that are required to run the event. We will notify you once we have made a decision. If only we had a crystal ball and could see what things will be like in 2.5 months time.
