10.01.2022 IMPORTANCE INFORMATION REGARDING THE NSW THEATRICAL CHAMPIONSHIP Sunday 29th March Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the corona virus we wish to advise that our event will be still be running as planned. The health and safety of all dancers, teachers and their parents are our first priority, to ensure the safest possible environment for all we will be implementing safety measures over the day including regularly sanitising all areas including changing rooms, toilets etc.... over the day. After the government’s announcement yesterday regarding the necessity of keeping event crowds down to under 500 we will organise the program schedule to ensure that the crowd will be kept to the minimum over the day to allow for the dancers to compete and leave as soon as they finish if they wish. With the advantage of the computerised judging system the instant presentations will assist greatly in ensuring all dancers events are finalised and presented quickly for them. We suggest studios ask their students to pack extra hand sanitiser in their dance bags to ensure everyone has a ready supply as while we will be having it available for use during the day it is becoming increasing hard to purchase in large quantities. A reminder that entries close this coming Tuesday, competitor’s tickets are required with their entries. If for any reason the corona virus worsens and the event is forced to be cancelled arrangements will be made to either refund or transfer ticket credits over to our event in August.
