23.01.2022 Thank you to our 10 year Candidates for their blurb of their journey About My Journey : By Montanah I started dancing at DWStudios at the age of 3. I have always loved to move and feel the beat to a song,dancing allowed me to do just that. As I grew older I learned not only the steps to a dance ,but also the technique and how to express myself in different genres with the styles my teachers taught me. Singing also allowed me to do the same. ... I would like to thank everyone that has supported me throughout these years, especially to Miss Sharon and Miss Megan. I am so grateful to of had many people support me and guide me in this journey so far,it helped me achieve what I have always wanted. I owe so much to my teachers and thank them for pushing me and believing in me beyond my limits, with out them ,I wouldn’t be who I am today. About My Journey : Rebecca I started my DWStudios journey when I was 3 years old. Over my 10 years of dancing I have made many new friendships. In 2014 one of my favourite routines was called ‘A little party never killed nobody. I remember loving the costume and the routine. Throughout my DWStudios journey, I have had the opportunity of learning many dance styles such as Jazz,Tap,Lyrical,Hip Hop,Contemporary and Ballet. I have always enjoyed learned new dance styles, steps and techniques for each style by my favourite teachers Miss Sharon and Miss Megan. I was very happy when asked to be the junior dancer in the tinies ballet group. I was able to assist the little ballerinas and also perform with them, having them looking up at me as their role model was very special to me. It has been such an enjoyable and exciting journey so far,and being able to perform with my friends makes dance class so much more enjoyable. Rebecca

19.01.2022 The outlook for a near startup doesnt look good for the arts industry. Lets remain hopeful that we can get back recreationally before the year is up. We will not be shining up on the stage this year, and the show wont go on. We will not let our 27th year go unforgotten, although we only enjoyed one term of it , it was a memorable time for us , for young and old - Do not give up on your dream - Think of how enthusiastic you have become and let that light up your spirit - Remember you can dance and sing anywhere , and the best thing is you can shine bright in this foggy world we are currently in - Much love Miss S
