At Dance Writer Company, we are looking for individuals aged between 5-18+ who are passionate about movement, determined to improve their own technical ability, inspired by dance choreography and wish to learn more about the Performing Arts. We offer two unique programs that run in conjunction with your normal dance studio classes. 1. Conditioning Program (NEW in 2021) is a course designed to give you the coordination, strength, flexibility and technique to enable you to fly. Be that creatively as a performer or personally for your fitness goals. This program is open to anyone from as young as five to adults. We tailor the experience to your needs and guide you through Pilates, Yoga, Classical Ballet, Jazz Technique and Contemporary Movement. 2. Performance Program is our most loved course for young dancers. We have expanded this program to include Junior Company (5-10 years), Youth (10-18 years) and Seniors (18+). Learn from specialist choreographers to engage in up to four performance productions a year (one each Term). Enrol for one Term, Half Year or Full Year. You must be already at a dance studio engaging in technical classes. The productions rotate between digital music-video style productions and stage performances. If you wish to do the Youth or Senior Company, you can also do the Conditioning Program in tandem with your performance training! We practice Sunday mornings in the Bayside area of Melbourne.
