21.01.2022 With the threat of covid locking us down, we booked this party, and today was a cracker!! The party bus started at 10am, with a trip to 3 vineyards, where many wines were sampled, and lots of cheese & biscuits. I’ve been on a mission, and have secured us some space to keep moving The amazing Carillon Theatrical Society has given us some time in their rehearsal studio at Milltown (on Bant Street), so let’s make the most of it!! 18.01.2022 This is every business owners nightmare, and last night we bundled up one of our students in the back of this ambulance, and sent her to hospital for scans & pain meds. Whilst it wasn’t pleasant, I have nothing but the highest admiration and respect for my staff and students who were there at the time. They acted quickly and calmly, did what was needed to be done, and kept their calm whilst one of their own was in obvious pain. Just another shining example of how pole family is everything - in good times & bad!! The student in question received the best possible care, and will now spend the rest of the year recovering. 13.01.2022 One last moment of reflection in my favourite spot, where I watched you all achieve so much over the years. This room has seen the highest of highs, the lowest of lows, births, deaths, marriages, good times, absolute shit times, and met many people who started as friends, and ended up becoming family. Thank you Rankin St for all the memories. For bringing complete strangers together to share something different., and creating a bond between people who would otherwise not have... met outside of your walls. End of an era in this room - but as I sat here I absorbed every last ounce of all these vibes, and I’ll take them with me to our new studio, and share this love there. And when we reopen, bring your love with you all, and let’s create even more amazing memories together Massive shout out to Suni, Rach, Ellen, Bel, Lys, Andrew, Alicia & Matt, and my boy Dylan.
