19.01.2022 Our first week back post covid-19 shut downs! YAY Don't forget:- To assist our families post covid. We have offered ALL dancers the discounted rate for classes. ... We have also offered payment flexibility (weekly or upfront - whatever your family can achieve) We offered ALL dancers the opportunity to fundraise for themselves in our latest (and successful) pie drive. Those who chose to partake, have the opportunity to use what they raised against their dance fees - lessons, uniforms, costumes etc. PLUS we have offered classes over the holidays Happy days! 17.01.2022 WOW!! The biggest pie drive in Dancing Stars pie drive HISTORY :O Our total is....$20.679.50.... yes you read that correctly... Twenty thousand six hundred and seventy nine dollars and fifty cents!!!... Um... WOW! congratulations everyone!! Massive effort! It has been a tough time for many. Some of our dance parents lost their jobs and would find it hard to get their kids back into dance so we offered an opportunity for the fundraising efforts to go back to our dancers to get... them back to dance. A portion will also go towards their end of year concert spectacular ! A little goes a long way! Well done to all who participated :-) x

14.01.2022 Wow! This time last year we were in the air, on our way to the happiest place on earth So grateful we went last year ! The best trip ever.
14.01.2022 Today was so fun! 6 of our DST students visited the famous O'Donnell's bakery. This is where all the yummy pies and goodies will be made for our recent pie drive! All our participants did well with their fundraising efforts but we do need to highlight 6 dancers in particular who went above and beyond with their order totals. These 6 dancers managed to raise over $1000 each! Our highest order total was $1854 which was collected from one of our Little Stars, Charlotte Barlow.... Having managed to gain over $1000 each in orders, these 6 students were asked to be a part of a special interview and bakery tour. Watch Channel 7 Local news tomorrow from 6pm to catch the full story!! :-) Thank you to the lovely team at O'Donnells Bakehouse & 7NEWS Toowoomba for helping us help our dancers back to dance following such a rough financial time for our families.

(in the near future) We have devised a plan to enable our Dancing Stars families to very easily gain credits to go towards their dancers fees, therefore lessening the financial stress during this time. 04.01.2022 With our kids sadly missing out on the Carnival performances for 2020 (due to covid) We did something that made them feel like they weren’t missing out. We gave every dancer the opportunity to be involved in this virtual performance. Every student who was involved features both up close and in wide shots on the recording. Although a little different than usual, ... The kids still had fun The kids still danced and they still attracted a live audience Well done and thank you to the students, parents and staff at DST for really making this a positive and happy experience during a difficult time. Dancing Stars will always ensure it’s students are looked after and given as many experiences as possible. Please enjoy this small snippet! Shoes..... .....but it's just a dance lesson..... Friendships are made .... Teamwork is created.... We commiserate the sad times But boy do we celebrate the good ones. .....but it's just a dance lesson ... We conquer our fear, We stretch our bodies and minds, We listen to our teachers, We feel at home here in our studio . We laugh, we may cry but we laugh some more... .....but it's just a dance lesson ... The important dates are recorded. Competitions are entered, Eisteddfods are in the calendar ... There is a time to care and A time to be carefree A place to be our absolute selves ... It's part of our life... It's just a dance studio But..... We not only dance there . We eat there, We do our homework there, We tiktok there, We have birthdays there .... Its the place we learn about life And that you are important Weather you dance in the back row Or the front .... It's NOT just a dance lesson Its NOT just a dance studio... It's our second home.. Our safe place ... We will dance again ....we will dance together! Bring on the END of COVID and the reopening of studios over the world!! <3
02.01.2022 We are so ready to see our lovely dancers in a few weeks! We are feeling grateful that restrictions are easing and we can ease back into dance again We will be ensuring our dancers safety and implementing the required and necessary requirements. Parents are encouraged to check their emails for our covid safe plan. Just because we can’t use any hand held props or equipment and have to distance, doesn’t mean our classes will be boring! Quite the opposite! Our program has be...en altered to abide by the current rulings & will be fun, educational, creative and stimulating. If you are interested in getting your little one into a class, we may be able to take new dancers in certain classes. It will depend on the dancers age, the class they will be going into, the current class numbers. message us & we can check availability!
