10.01.2022 Last Friday night, Feb 12th, we managed to sneak in our annual community event - The Kilburn Cinema - before lockdown struck at midnight! And what a perfect night it was. The temperature was ideal, the stars made an appearance and the rain stayed away. Thank you to the locals who joined us with BYO picnics or enjoyed dinner from the food truck and non-alcoholic beverages from our friends at ETCH. Comfy chairs were set up, throws and cushions scattered around, and after listening to the fabulous sounds of The Calmer Miles (with a guest appearance by talented local father/daughter duo Terence Toh and Adele) - we all sat back and relaxed and watched one of the best films we have seen for a while, Ford vs Ferrari. 07.01.2022 Cain Whitehead moved to the Mornington Peninsula with his parents when he was 15 years old, continuing high school at Padua in Mornington. From a young age Cain was drawn to real estate and eagerly pursued his ambition by gaining work experience with a real estate agent in Mt Martha. 02.01.2022 Continuing on with our curated collection of Sam's top 10 books, here's the final instalment # 10: Eat that frog by Brian Tracy "My foundations as a sales person were greatly influenced by Brian Tracy, and in this great book he sets out what the common barriers to personal productivity are, and how to overcome them. This is an excellent book for enhancing systems and organisation, and for reaching new levels of productivity. I’m not one that naturally liked regimented structure because it seemed like the opposite of freedom, but I learned the hard way that a lack of structure ends up stealing your discretionary time. This book shifted my thinking and has freed up major capacity to focus on the truly important, value adding things in life. Sam Danckert
