Favourite thing about the club: The welcoming family culture that is proven by the calibre of players/families/volunteers that arrive at the club and stay for a significant amount of time Favourite cricket memory: Batting with Bulla in the final round of 2010/2011 against Camberwell to get him to his 100. Thanks boys for another good session of the Pattinson Academy.

Lifetime supporter of the Dandenong Cricket Club.... Describe yourself as a cricketer/as a coach: A positive player. I love trying to work out whats happening next before the opposition do. What are you most looking forward to at DCC this season: Watching players grow and take their opportunities. Favourite member/volunteer at the club and why: The late Des Nolan was my favourite. He was a legend in my eyes. Most enjoyable thing about the club: Watching players succeed. To know and watch a Ryder medallist and a few test players ply their trade, amazing. What is your best cricket memory at Dandenong: Watching premierships and seeing people play test cricket. Watching a 51yo Bushy make a century out at Footscray, even though he asked for a helmet half way through. Amazing. Hobbies outside of cricket: travel, footy, socialising.

07.01.2022 Dean Jones was a great cricketer for Victoria and Australia and was also dedicated to Premier Cricket with Carlton and Melbourne. He shared premiership success with both, three batting with Warren Ayres. He remained a strong advocate for Premier cricket and the value of supporting community cricket.
