22.01.2022 Some of the children from Blue Group and Yellow Group moved through the obstacle course this afternoon. This allows the children to build on their balance, climbing and spatial awareness. They also took turns to jump off the beam at the end!

22.01.2022 The children have been exploring activities at home and at Kindergarten focused on the changing season. At home the children were encouraged to go for a walk and collect some leaves that have fallen from the trees. Children in red group used their leaves to create some wonderful artwork. At kindergarten the children in Red and Blue group spent time exploring the outdoors and also collecting the leaves ... Activities like this prompt wonderful opportunities for children and adults to have conversations and help children to further develop their language skills.

02.01.2022 Today is the perfect day to get outside in your backyard and engage in some physical activity Here are some ideas to get your children moving: * Practice catching, hitting, bouncing and kicking various balls. Grab the laundry basket and see how many balls you can toss into the basket. No balls at home? No problem. Maybe you could use other things from around the house. Even a pair of rolled up socks would do! ... * Make up games that involve different types of movement. For example, get your child to chase bubbles, walk along chalk lines and jump over puddles or cracks in the ground. * Play different kinds of music and have a dance! At kinder the children love playing "Freeze". Play some music and when the music stops freeze like a statue! * Invent some silly walks and runs with your child.
