17.01.2022 Great night out on the track last night with 35+ The boys are excited to be back and the morale is at an all time high. Social distancing, training in smaller groups and sanitising were first and foremost as we continue to abide by the governments restrictions. Looking forward to hopefully soon being able contact train and put on the red and blue on game day. 10.01.2022 SFNL announces 2020 football season cancelled Whilst the news is devastating to not be able to get on the field for 2020, we too agree the current situation and spread of COVID-19 means it is far too risky to play football. The health and well-being of all clubs, leagues and communities is more important. A reminder to follow the health advice of officials, social distance, sanitise and if you have any symptoms go and get tested. That being said we’d like to thank our ha...rdworking committee for the time and effort put in so far, now we work towards a successful and exciting 2021. To the players who recommitted from previous seasons, the new players and the ones who came over to help us when their league cut the season - we especially say thank you to you for supporting the club throughout all of this. Whilst on field has been called off, we as a club will still continue operate off field to support our players and members as much as we can and will be in regular contact. During this time we’d like to shed light on mental health as we know footy for some is a great social environment and an outlet. 03.01.2022 Redlegs, please join us in supporting your 2021 Committee! Aaron Monk will again be President along with co-Vice Presidents Gail Smith & Matthew Macca McCabe. Erin Scafoccia has stepped up into Treasurer and Emma Kosky will again be your secretary to be assisted by Kayla Smith. Also jumping on board the Redlegs train for general committee are: Rebecca Smith, Tony Smith, Chantelle Diacono and Monique Simpson. ... We are still accepting nominations for general committee and everyone is welcome and encouraged to jump on board for 2021. We would also like to announce Mick Lawrence as Football Operations Manager and are very excited to have him on board next season.
