13.01.2022 Base rates of pay to increase by 3.3%. The Fair Work Commission has announced a 3.3% increase to award wages and the national minimum wage. The increase takes... effect from the first full pay period that starts on or after 1 July 2017. The new national minimum wage will be $694.90 (up from $672.70) per week or $18.29 per hour (up from $17.70). It usually takes the Commission 2-3 weeks to update the pay rates in each award. Once they make these changes, well update our pay tools with the new rates.
