We are after a barista, and We need people experienced, competent, efficient, honest and accountable (minimum 2 years experiences). . The successful candidate/s will need to have an excellent approachable personality and be able to receive feedback and use that feedback for personal growth within their position.... BARISTA: We take our coffee seriously, if applying to be a barista you will need to be able to spin super silky milk, dial in coffee aiming for optimum TDS, monitor consistency with every cup and appreciate that perfection is consistency+quality and consistent perfection is crucial to the survival of a specialty coffee shop. Pace is also a big factor, we don't want people waiting for their coffees!! All in house coffees must have art, if you can't pour at least a symmetrical tulip (minimum 3 points) and rosetta (and achieving or working towards more complex art), this job this time, is not for you. WAITSTAFF: You will need to be able to run a busy section unassisted and help elsewhere when needed. Brunch service experience will be an asset, it's fast, no room for mistakes and go, go, go most days. You will need an upbeat, can-do personality and thrive off of the buzz of a busy service. Schmoozing is encouraged, service tasks come first though and there's no room for dilly-dalliers. If you think your ethos aligns with ours, get in contact as soon as possible.
