20.01.2022 A return to cricket this weekend and straight into the Redderz Cup for our Women's First XI. Played in memory of Carey "Redderz" Cook, after whom our Women's Club Champion Award is also named, this annual event is a key one on the DCC and Essendon-Maribyrnong Park Ladies Cricket Club calendars. Given current circumstances, the day will be a low key event with pre and post match formalities and a basic canteen throughout the day. 18.01.2022 Final training session last night for our Under 16 Boys Premier squad at Shepley. First game this Sunday 20th December at Shepley Oval at 11.00am...come down and watch some great young cricketers in their first game against Kingston Hawks. Congratulations to Trishane DeSilva named Captain and Jaskabeer Singh named Vice Captain of the squad. Our thanks to the parents (some who have travelled long distances) for getting the boys to the training sessions and for the upcoming games. Thanks also to the boy’s home clubs and to our coaching staff who have worked hard to put together this squad of talented cricketers. 05.01.2022 Congratulations to Brett Forsyth who was today awarded the Peter Davies Memorial Medal being voted the best player in our 1XI game against Richmond CC. Peter Davies was an outstanding cricketer at both the Waverley Cricket Club (prior to become Waverley Dandenong) and Richmond and also played six first class games for Victoria.
