18.01.2022 We all had some fun last night at a corporate gig on the Central Coast. Thanks Mingara Recreation Club for having us!

17.01.2022 Right back into it for 2018 and enjoying the fresh air and late summer light while we can. Only 12 weeks until Blacktown MF , so plenty of training and projects to get thru and complete. As for Blacktown we have met with council and will have further info for participants coming out shortly.

14.01.2022 This year the Fayre will also be hosting its inaugural Medieval Banquet in the magnificent Colebee Function Centre. It promises to be a great event packed with fine food and drink , atmosphere and entertainment. An ideal night out for those who want to experience a little taste of the middle ages!

14.01.2022 Well it was quite literally weather for Ducks up at the Central Coast Yesterday , but we still managed to have fun with our friends from the Vanguard at the Central Coast Kids Day Out. A reduced static display under cover certainly helped and we managed to eek out 2 good tournament shows in difficult conditions. Thanks to all involved.

14.01.2022 We had a great day out over the weekend for our Annual xmas party. Thanks to Ingrid and Jamie for opening up their home to give us such a great backdrop by the river to help celebrate the end of another successful year. Congratulations also to our clubman of the year Jacob Jones and both Mick and Jake who were both award winners as well. Looking forward to a well earned break , and see you all again in 2018!

04.01.2022 A big shout out and thank you to our friends at Uppsala Medieval Society for joining in with us at Eurofest yesterday. It was great to have you involved and certainly added to an all around fun day. Cheers!

04.01.2022 It is with a great tinge of sadness that we report that The Danelaw property along with much of the Rose Valley estate has been ravaged and burnt thru late yesterday afternoon as a result of the Currowan Bush Fire in southern NSW. Regrettably this also includes The Beorgwic and Dunghaven encampments, as well as the Upplands campsite , along with all the other private sites scattered around the property. Our understanding at this stage is that all structures and trees have be...en severely damaged and lost. We are deeply sorry to have to relay this news as we know many people across a number of groups as well as our own , have shared in the joy , ambience, sunshine, blood , sweat , tears , mud , rain , leaches , feasts , drinking and fun times at many events over the years. Naturally this is a painful loss to bear for all concerned and a terrible outcome.but the harsh reality is , as a non regenerative Forest , this property is very unlikely to go on in future as a venue for re-enactment. For now we will be ever thankful for the great run we had ( almost 17 years) and extremely grateful for the memories we all created and shared. We remain appreciative for all those people that have visited and supported any event held there as well. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our good friend and neighbor John who has kept watch and done his best clearing and pushing thru firebreaks where possible these past few weeks. A remarkable effort considering the fires size. Finally our heartfelt thanks to those who loved the place as much as we did , shared the dream and helped turn that dream into a reality.
