25.01.2022 Post open homes today, I couldn’t resist sourcing some new @pony_rider cushions for our ‘client wardrobe’; beautiful pieces to dress our client’s homes for sale. And a 1yr old in a homewares shop is not stressful at all

23.01.2022 Just back from a little break in stunning Yamba, NSW. We fell a bit in love. The stunning beaches (Pippis, Convent, Angourie & Main) and an EPIC food+coffee+surf scene punching far above its small town weight. Our must visits were ... morning coffee, croissants & cheeky shop @summisyamba celebration dinner, sandy feet welcome @barbaresco.angourie post surf prawn rolls @lunchbox_espressobar best brunch @yumyumangouriecafegeneralstore luxe beach umbrellas and ultimate holid...ay dresses @belindasstore coffee experience @boterocoffee and best view and açai bowls or bacon & egg rolls @thekioskyamba experience for kiddos and good coffee for mum and dad @the_peachfarm stunning Hawaiian style sushi & poke bowls @alohasushicafe supplies for the week and flower filled crunchy rice paper rolls @yamba_farmers_market and for the most unusual mix of flavours and a common locals recommendation @sweetnspicy_cafe We have long loved Rainbow Bay, Byron, Bruns and the south coast, but Yamba has crept to the top of the list....no wonder they call it the ‘new Byron’. Our Airbnb ‘Ocean High’ was the perfect fisherman’s style cottage. We swam and ate something local from the sea every day and are coming back home refreshed for a huge Christmas season with @homeinthehunter There are so many holiday makers and buyers looking at the Hunter Region and we won’t be shutting down except for Christmas & Boxing Day! Starting a new business in Covid has been the hardest and the most rewarding thing we have ever done. We are so very grateful to our beautiful clients and the many early supporters of what we have been trying to create! We are especially grateful to our little crew of Miss 4 and Mr 1 who have come along on this crazy ride and who make it all right at the end of the day (and a bit noisy ) See more

22.01.2022 We love looking to hotels for interior inspiration. And @theanchorageportstephens has one of the best lounge rooms (ahem) lobby spaces we have ever seen. And it looked this good even in with quick iPhone pic we snapped during a coffee break between Open Homes!... See more

13.01.2022 Such a strong turnout at our new open home in stunning Corlette! All this time at home has us looking to upgrade how we live in our spaces. We made the move to the Hunter for more space for our family in 2018 and during this isolation period have never been more glad that we did! We love helping people find home here and using our skills to showcase this spectacular region. Wondering what your home is worth? Or what value a renovation may add? Call our Principal Daniel for ...a friendly chat today! 0426 511 257 Lake Macquarie | Newcastle | Port Stephens | Hunter Valley

13.01.2022 From February to June this year, the COVID period, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie home values have actually risen a staggering 8%. Contrast this to the capital cities where prices have dropped 2%. Here are just some of the homes we have sold in this period and all achieved above market expectation. There are a few reasons driving this upward trend:... - Out of area buyers. People are moving from the capital cities to less populated regional centres. COVID has changed where and how we work. - People are returning to bricks and mortar investments and regional centres are offering strong value. - Government initiatives boosting the amount of $$ available to first home buyers. - COVID has transformed how we look at lifestyle. It is incredible that somewhere (Newcastle) within 2 hours of Sydney has a median house price of $588,000 compared to Sydney’s $1,143,000. Especially when you consider the Hunter’s proximity to beaches, bush, lake and wineries. Can you tell we are huge fans of this region! And so glad that we ourselves made the big move from Sydney 2 years ago. What is your home worth and could this be the time to sell? Contact our friendly Director Daniel for a free chat. We love helping people find more than home. @ Lake Macquarie

11.01.2022 ANOTHER SOLD A beautiful Sydney family making the seachange and a great result for one amazing client We don’t put many of our just solds up as #boring but we are huge fans of Billy’s Lookout (sssh we are residents!) and this one was close to our heart #homeinthehunter

10.01.2022 Tone + Texture. Prior to @homeinthehunter I (Laura) spent A LOT of time (my old team could attest!) thinking about and creating centrepieces, installations and vignettes for events. Once, I produced a sit down dinner for 1300 guests at the Westin, Sydney and created these towering rose centrepieces: we then layered a floral scent throughout with candles, linen sprays for the tablecloths and napkins, rose hand wash and lotion in the bathrooms and people still talk about the be...autiful flowers and how they smelled I LOVE creating ‘moments’ in spaces and doing it in our clients homes has been such a beautiful extension of that. Sourcing pieces to add to our client warehouse today #realestate #sellingsunset #homestyle #floraldesign #newcastlensw #h&mhome Formatted with @captionwriter.app See more

09.01.2022 When you’re within walking distance to a coffee here @theanchorageportstephens New coastal hideaway launching soon. From Nelson Bay to Lovedale to Caves Beach, there are some pretty spectacular lifestyle suburbs to be found here in the Hunter region. @cottonwoodandco

08.01.2022 Our latest listing in Billy’s Lookout ticks one of the all important boxes: walk to excellent coffee... Maddz on York in eclectic Teralba Village, uses beans from Newcastle roastery Glitch which pair perfectly with their instagram-worthy and impossibly fluffy Honeycomb Ricotta Pancakes. We can’t get a coffee to go without one of their vegan chocolate cookies or a sneaky bacon & egg roll. Why we love Billy’s Lookout:... It isn’t your usual development. We particularly like the modern coastal and Hampton’s inspired vibes. Surrounded by towering gums and water glimpses on your evening stroll. Strong community spirit, especially around Halloween and Christmas! Ride your bike to dinner at Warner’s Bay or pack a sundowner picnic for Marmong Point. This 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home has a garage tradesman or caravan owners could only dream about and a cook is going to be right at home with the chef’s stove, and 3m stone bench top with waterfall ends, overlooking the huge backyard where the kids are playing. The outlook is private and with that all important north easterly aspect too. Home in the Hunter can’t wait to welcome you through this weekend. 10am-10.30am Saturday 23 Bowline Street, Teralba
