05.01.2022 When the world of sport, as well as society all together has come to a halt with recent times, the world of Esports has been rapidly growing. For cyclist and triathletes we have had the opportunity of utilising a virtual cycling platform (Zwift) which allows people to cycle around real and fictional world locations with others, as well as race alongside others for those more competitive cyclist, from all around the world live. For people who may not know how this works, in si...mple terms, you ride your bike indoors stationary just like you would ride it outside, and with the right equipment you can connect this data of the power you push on the bike to your computer onto this online program, which then makes your unique online avatar ride the bike at the same speed you are.
